BIOS PAssword
The above solution provider is wrong saying there is no other solutionThe following solution is what I have done practially and it worksYou will need to open the laptop, remove the keyboard and underneath their is a covering. Remove the covering and you will see rtc battery and a dip switch with four white buttons that can be positioned to on and off. First disconnect the rtc battery from the motherboard and then move the third button to the on position. Power on and the password will be removed. Power off the laptop. Reconnect the rtc battery and slide the third dip switch button back to the original position. EnjoyIf you have any problem/comments feel free to contact me on

When Windows Loads a blue
I looks like your windows installation is corrupted and will need to be reinstalled using either the on-board reinstall partition or the installation media you created or came with the computer
How can I remove BIOS
Use a Backdoor Password
1
Go to the Technibble website and locate the manufacturer of the BIOS for your computer. Write down the backdoor passwords that are listed.
2
Restart the computer and press the "F2" key to access the BIOS.
3
Enter one of the backdoor passwords to see if you can access the BIOS. Repeat this step until you find a password that works--but keep in mind, sometimes three wrong guesses will cause the computer to lock up.
4
Change the password for the BIOS to something else, then exit and restart the computer.
Remove the CMOS Battery
1
Unplug the computer from the wall outlet or power strip. Remove the screws on the back of the case that secure the side panel. Slide the side panel off and then locate the round CMOS battery that is attached to the motherboard.
2
Examine the battery to see how it is attached to the motherboard. Pull on the latch to release the battery and then remove it from the motherboard.
3
Wait about 20 to 30 minutes for the electricity in the capacitors on the motherboard to discharge or dissipate.
4
Set the CMOS battery back in the motherboard. Set the side panel back in place and the plug the power cord back in.
5
Restart the computer and press the "F2" key to access the BIOS
It takes abour 20 minutes
this is a string of issues from viruses to registry probs and some possible defrag neglect i would advise if not already in place to get a good antivirus program in place mine takes care of registry issues aswell as viruses and disc optmization problems automatically and i keep everything important on a portable hdd to keep my pc fresh and empty of clutter i bought a 1 terabyte for around 100$ hope this helps if nothing else fixes this lagging issue i ultimately suggest reformat to original state after removal of important documents

The original spec was for a maximum of 1G RAM and a 40G hard drive. There is a free utility availabe for use at
http://www.belarc.com that will list the amount of RAM, the size of the hard drive, the speed of the CPU and a lot of other information you may find useful.
Jumpy cursor
The reason this is happening is that as you are typing; you're resting some weight on the thin plastic above the touchpad...which then makes contact and registers a 'click'; thus moving your cursor around. Or you're brushing your thumb against it when hitting the space key.
Some laptops are more susceptible to this than others. Some more modern laptops come with a button to turn the touchpad off to solve this very problem.
The only thing you can do about this is to disable the touchpad through the touchpad driver (down by the clock, usually) and use a mouse instead. Depending on how you use your laptop, this will be more or less inconvenient- if your laptop never leaves the desk; disable the touchpad and use a mouse...no problem. If you go mobile a lot, you'll have to enable and disable the touchpad all the time.
The other thing you can do is adapt your typing style so you don't put any weight on anything but the key you're pressing. This is quite difficult and uncomfortable, and is not recommended for long sessions.
