yes you can, but dont know what good it would do, you should be more concerned with ram - nowdays minimum is 2gb, 1 if you know how to manage resources like a pro,you can buff up to 4, but you cant change your graphics card and that is a bigger issue...

restart the computer HOLD the key FN +f1 or f2 depend or your model and goes to BIOS setupu and reset the password or disable. God bless you

Here are two things you can try:

Easiest First,
While booting tap the F12 key to force boot from cd-rom

Boot to bios and change boot order to cd-rom first
this can be done by tapping F1 while booting

To turn off the number lock on a Toshiba laptop -
Press and hold down the Fn key and then press F11 function key - also the LED that indicates the number lock has been enable will then switch off.

You can call Toshiba to explain your problem. As I understand it, they will remove the BIOS password at no charge even if the laptop is out of warranty. Both of the posted solutions have you doing things that are farily technical, either from a dissassembly standpoint or a software standpoint. If you don't thnk you'd be comfortable and have time to wait until business hours, I'd suggest you call Toshiba.

One you have it resolved you should upgrade the BIOS to the latest version by downloading and installing from the Toshiba web site to prevent it from happening again.

It does not have a bluetooth build it. However there is a device you can buy that goes into your computer's usb drive. They cost from 10 to 30 dollars in stores (see link below). It is a good computer though, I have a higher end satellite laptop and I love it.

Yes, it could be the Sound Card. But, you need to try uninstalling/re-installing the driver first before replacing it.

Once the same problem occur after installing the driver, try using the problem sound card into another computer to test it.

If the problem is isolated with the sound card, then replace it.

No reason why it shouldn't take anything that's currently available. Just be sure to get a SATA 2.5" drive.

If it hangs with the new hard drive installed and doesn't without it hooked up then definitely the new hard drive is bad. Return it and get another one.

Need to know your OS

hi dldaniels first thing is you need to go to display settings click on the advance button and make sure the DPI is set to 96 this is default setting.
Now if the DPI is 96 you may have acidentaly changed the accessiblity setting,
click on the start button and go to accessories then choose accessiblity and then click on the wizard..from here you can change it back.
Now the other thing you can check once you have done that is to check that your using clear type fonts, on the display properties of the desktop by right click on blank space and going to properties, then choose the appearance tab click on effects...then make sure it using clear type.
