Toshiba Gigabeat S30 MP3 Player Questions & Answers
Frozen?
try turning off the battery switch on the bottom of the player. Use a pen point slide it to the left for about 15 seconds, then back to the right.
Help! 30 GB Gigabeat won't hold a charge and seems to be wiped :(
Sounds like a built in glitch ... You might want to take it back under manufacturer's warranty and get a completely different MP3 Player/iPod, because it sounds like a scamming item - for $400 I'd demand answers.
It may sound a bit cheeky, but I find reputable models, like Goodmans, JVC and Sony work without a problem, and buying cheaper models with mass GB space would seem a bit too good to be true.
Toshiba gigabeat MES30VW
i'm thinking the hard drive is messing up... you know when i dropped my
gigabeat S30 it wasn't working n it was freezing and the video files
weren't playing at all. it would freeze when i turn on or play video.
then i turned it off and then back on using the battery switch. it said
"contact the manufacturer for repair" with a yield sign. i really
thought i killed it...but i still had my hopes high to fix it myself
somehow n i really thought it was from the hard drive. so i took it in
my hand and gave it a shake on my palm. like i actually hit it on my
palm for once n then i turned it on and it worked =D fineee.... i was
so happy n now it still works fine ;)
i hope that helps
Stuck in recovery mode and
My Creative Zen mp3 player is stuck on Recovery mode , and keeps on saying filmware problem. I have tried to reset, push power button down and push play button at the same time. I also tried Clean-Up Format and reload filmware.
Nothing has worked, and I am about to throw it out the window.
Please if you can help me.
Thank You
Frozen screen on Gigabeat S30
I left the Gigabeat on until the battery ran out. It then turned itself off automatically and allowed me to re-charge the battery. When I turned the Gigabeat on, it again worked perfectly,
