I have a new XC0436 weather station that is showing time/date 12 hours behind. Tried everything possible but apart doing a manual setting the sync setting is wrong

While trying to setup internet time syncing on my new XC0436 I found this question. The answer from Fred is a bit brief so I thought I should add some details. When the XC0436 is synced to an internet time source it gets the time in UTC. To convert this to local time it uses a manually entered offset. The user manual lists the following steps to adjust the offset: 1. press and hold CLOCK SET key for 2 seconds to enter time set mode 2. the first value displayed is the offset (it appears that only whole hours are possible) 3. press the up or down arrows on the back to adjust the offset (e.g. 08 for Hong Kong) 4. press and hold the CLOCK SET key to confirm and exit

Robinair 34700z display went blank yesterday... Machine runs, but no display. Is there anything I can try myself before taking to dealer?

Unlikely, unless you fancy trying to check the connections behind it? It doesn't appear to be a known issue. https://www.google.com/search?q=Robinair+34700z+display+went+blank ..

Waterproofing house stucco

First of all, this is a problem the guys from Home Depot wouldn't know how to fix.

Years ago, maybe when this post was originally written you may have needed to do a two coat system.

Your best and actually easiest option will be to power wash your stucco, to remove any dirt from the surface.
Then you will need to mask everything up tight because you're about to spray all the stucco. Cover any concrete and plants nearby, (anything that is closer than 10 feet from the stucco.)

Then go to Sherwin-Williams and purchase Loxon XP this is a one coat system however if you have larger cracks in the stucco you will either want to caulk them with an elastomeric caulk (if you don't have too many) or apply a second coat of Loxon XP. If you're a do it yourself kinda of person you can go to home depot and rent a spray machine. While your spraying your gonna want to back roll it. www.outbackpaintingusa.com

Salter 9001 bathroom scale stopped working

Hi Pete. I don't keep receipts either : ^ )
No that I am done commeserating, try this. Remove the batteries. Use the eraser end of a common pencil to scrub and clean the battery contacts inside the battery compartment. Also pull the contacts a little closer to the surface if you can. Then reinstall the batteries and you may be up and running.
Please rate my answer as verey helpful thanks. Joe
