It's not the fuse. Chances could be your PSU

on the power supply board if it has capacitors that are raised in the center and not flat then that is you problem.this can be an issue with any model flat screen tv. 80% of the time this is what's wrong.same for computer monitors also.

DVD's (CD red book standard) are 120mm (12cm) in diameter the smaller 8cm disc's are the 1.4gb versions. not all "slot" loading mechanisms can accept these smaller type of discs. if you are trying to insert 120mm discs then there is a fault with the mech!

The fault to your TV might not due to a defective capacitor. A higher capacitance valued capacitor, won't do nothing wrong. But as the capacitance value increases, the size of the capacitor will too increase. That's all. Check the fuse at the power supply regulator board.
