What does unable to print AF means?
Hi Jacinth,
The most common cause of this issue is simply having a small object like a paperclip, staple or torn piece of paper fall into the inside of the case. Opening the entire scanner lid will allow you to take a look inside. Remove any foreign objects that you find. If the error persists and either nothing is inside or you have already removed the object, the next step is to reset the device, simply unplug for 5 minutes, the plug it back in and power up.
You can save time by unplugging before you go looking for a physical blockage. If there is no blockage and resetting the device fails you may need to contact Brother directly to see if the mechanical portion can be repaired/replaced under warranty.
Any stored faxes are safe while unplugged for more than 12 hours so just remember not to leave it unplugged for too long. If you do need to send it away or exchange it you can back up all of your current faxes that are waiting to print by following the procedure on page 139 of the user guide, link below.
Hope this helps,
Chris

Im getting unable to print 50 error on my brother mfc 665cw
Hi
Thanks
for using FixYa. There might be a paper jam before this error code. The paper might
have dislocated the encoder strip. Please turn off the printer and push it back
into its slot to resolve the issue. Please do accept the solution
if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Thanks
Rylee

Paper tray: Feeder won't work
Do not know brand of paper, but shcek to see if feed wheels are turning when you try to feed. If wheels are turning than they are either dirty, clean with soap and water. or the whells need replacement..

How do i copy double sided?
Your Printer does not have a 2-sided(duplex) printing feature, so you cannot print on both sides of the paper.

MFC-665cw unable to print 50
Did you have a paper jam before this happened? If yes then the paper must have pushed the encoder strip out of alignment.hen you open the printer so that you can see the print head, move the print head with your hands, pull it to the middle. The space immediately to the front of the printer is blocked by the plastic shield. you can curl your fingers down under this shield. you will feel the encoder strip, which is about 8 mm wide, and is a plastic ribbon, or strip. It runs from left side to right side across the printer, in a vertical orientation. This is the encoder strip. Past this you can feel a longer rubber belt, which is about 3 mm wide. This is not the encoder strip, it is a belt and you don't need to be concerned with this.Place your fingers on the encoder strip on either side of the print head, and flex it, bending it up and slightly back and then release it. Try this several times. Do this with power on. Once the encoder strip is back into it's slot the printer will start a cleaning cycle and start working.Solution found
