Sounds like that is a scanner error, you should replace the lower scanner assembly Part # 109K01870.
Other scanner errors include 39,002.40 39,003.41 39,004.42 and 39,005.43 (any numbers after the semicolon is the page count)

This error indicates that the paper path motor stalled. Clear the paper jam, power off the printer for 30 seconds and then turn it back on.

Power OFF the Printer and Contact Support for Assistance. That's what the support website states. If you run out of warranty Xerox will charge you a call out fee before they even look at the printer.

Remove the RAM from the expansion slot and reseat it. If the problem persist replace the RAM

in your printer driver, Start/printers & Faxes.. Right click the printer Icon for your 8560 and goto properties.
Goto Advanced Tab and then Printing Defaults..
Make sure the Black & White printing is Unchecked.

The part number is 109R00754 cost around £30 but do shop around. Try Printerland, Fuss3printersales, Printerbase, Printware, search on their sites under consumables not parts. Also, try googling the part number, this normally takes you directly to the catalogue pages rather than searching websites.

To print 4 x 6 on a Phaser 8560 you can only use the MPT and you can't duplex. When you load the paper into the bypass, the screen will pop up options for paper size and type. The closest match to 6 x 4 is A6 but the tray will know that the size is wrong if you select it. Therefore, you must select 'Custom Size' and input the size in whatever units the printer requests, either inches or millimeters depending on your printer settings.

The maint kit resets the counter when it is installed. You may have gotten a bad maint kit or the black plasstic part that the roller slides into is bad. That is where the connection is to reset the counter.
