It could be a couple issues. The picker rollers may need to be replaced. There are sensors after the draw and after the fuser.

What does load mpf mean

It does stand for Manual Paper Feed.
On this printer, that's on the front of the unit, above the paper trays.

Once your PC has sent a print job with the paper-select set to "Manual Paper Feed" the printer will not do anything until it's processed this job.
The easiest way to do this is to put paper into the MPF and let it print, but at some point you're going to want to fix your PC so it doesn't send MPF print jobs anymore.

To do this, open your Printer Properties and select the default paper tray instead of the Manual Feed.

I need new parts for my Dell 3010 printer.

First try to replace the cartridge and then if you can see the fuser make sure there is nothing on that area causing the streak.

Printer config

I'm not aware of a way to have the printer dump that info out on paper via the console -- you'd have to connect to the web interface, and you'd need to know the network info to do that!

But here's what you can do:

On the front panel, press the menu button (center button in the 5-way button thingy) and click down to the Network information section.
This should show you the printers IP address, and let you change it if you need a different address for your network.

How do i manually rotate cartridge carosel

You don't want to rotate the toner cartridges, you need to get a new Drum Cartridge assembly.
When you get that, it will have detailed directions, but you'll end up opening the top of the printer and pulling the drum straight up.

This is a different component than a toner cartridge. The toner carts are the supply of new toner. The drum cart collects excess toner during the printing process, and when it's full you need to get a new (empty) one.

If you connect to your printer's web interface it will have a link for "order supplies" that will take you right to the dell.com page for it.
Post a comment back if you need me to get the URL, and I'll grab it from my printer when I get home tonight.

A dell 3010 which prints fine from webpages etc.

Outlook's printer options are set to load paper from the Manual Paper Feed (mpf) instead of the regular paper tray.

In outlook, select file->print and look for the printer properties button on that dialog box.
Select the paper tray you want to use (or simply uncheck "MPF" or "Manual Paper Feed") and hit OK.

Dell 3010cn paper jam 075-134 cannot get rid of error

The reason Dell said this problem was almost impossible to fix is because it is. There is a lift mechanism inside the housing for the MPF paper tray that lifts the paper to the roller to pull off the top sheet. The lift mechanism in this printer model is flimsy at best. There is a roller cam with a knuckle attached to it to does eventually break, causing a failure of the lift mechanism. The components to repair this problem are unavailable from Dell, and can only be salvaged from another printer. Here's the kicker... You have to disassemble the ENTIRE printer in order to replace this assembly. This took me 2 and a half hours to accomplish, and you're going to have to do it on 2 printers, as well as reassemble the fixed one. DO grease the cam assembly with some white grease to get the longest life possible if you choose this option. Best option? Either purchase another printer off eBay with a different problem and use yours to fix that one, or, as Dell so lovingly suggested, purchase a new one. The cost of today's color laser solutions make purchasing one of these printers a much more viable option than fixing your 3010cn.

Dell 3000cn keep getting load mpf when i try to

I have a Dell 3010n myself, and a few times I did run into that "Load MPF" issue.
1.) Before printing a document, please check and see the properties. i.e. Kind/type of paper, which tray, or if printing envelopes or any other document than a regular 8 x11 paper. Putting all the tray and paper type selection on "Auto" can be very helpful.
2.) On the printer itself, there is a menu button where you can configure the type of paper, i.e. regular 20 llb. copy/print paper, glossy photopaper, thicker paper - after you place a fresh load on the paper tray and slide it in, usually it will ask you which type of paper you just loaded. Make sure it is the same settings as the document that you are trying to print: i.e. if document settings on computer was set to print on photopaper and you have regular paper on the tray, the printer will do a "Load MPF".
The paper sensor on it is amazingly (for a Dell, that is) sensitive and it can differentiate across a lot of paper types/thickness. If you have several computers and user across a network, and there are several paper-type settings done on the printer itself, this "Load MPF" issue will present itself more often.
In my case, it's simply because the person who recently changed the paper-type to glossy cover paper from some user who previously printed to a transparency forgot to revert MPF/Tray 1 to regular copy/print paper. Most cases, the printer setting on the PC has been left to print on to a transparency by default, so even if I stack the tray with copy paper to the hilt, it still will do "Load MPF".

Error code 004-321

This error means that your Drum Cartridge belt isn't aligned properly or the sensor for it has become dirty.

Open the top of the printer and look inside. There should be a blue tab on the right side to unlock the drum assembly. Unlock it and lift the assembly straight up to remove it from the printer.

Now, look at the thing you just pulled out -- the drum assembly -- and you should see a black rubber belt. If you turn the wheels that operate it, you'll see that the rubber belt is not centered, so the sensor can't see the little silver plate.

Pull gently on the rubber belt to re-center it, then reinsert the drum cartridge and close up the printer.

Can't print. message load MPF won't go away

There is a print job waiting, either in the printer's memory or on your computer's memory. This print job is set to go to the Manual Paper Feed (MPF) which is accessible from the front of the printer by flipping down the little MPF door.

You can change settings for new print jobs, but once one job is submitted with "Please Print Me On The MPF" set, there's no way to change that job.

The easiest fix is to put some blank paper into the MPF and let it print out.

If it's spooled on the printer, you can turn the printer off and back on again to clear the job.
If it's spooled on your computer, you can view it by bringing up the Printer settings:
Start->Settings->Printers and Faxes
Find your 3100 and double-click on it.
Find the print job, select it and pick "Cancel" from the "Document" menu.

I can't get the color cartridges removed

Mine is pretty stubborn about letting go of the cartridges too. The best answer I can say is DON'T FORCE IT!

For mine, after turning the lever to unlock, I push the whole cartridge to the left slightly, then pull on the right (side with the lever)
If it doesn't let go, try turning the lever to lock it, then unlock it and try again.

I honestly don't know how I get it to release the cartridges, but it's never let one go on my first try, and it's always (eventually) let them go without forcing anything.

Error Code 077-300 close front cover

I would suggest, turning off the printer. Unplug the printer for about 3-5 mintues and hold the power button for a few seconds causing ALL power to disapate from the printer. Also known as power cycling. Please just insure the toner tray is properly inserted into the printer and close covers. Plug printer directly into the wall. Power it up and see if that helps your issue. If this helps you please rate my solution.

My DELL 3010CN is printing a thick black line on

Often Toner sticks to fuser. When the fuser heats the toner comes off onto the paper. Should reduce over time unless toner is spilling onto the fuser in the same place.

Change fuser and toner
