this can be a drum issue. if not a drum issue it is a fuser unit problem. just take your drum out and look at it. if you see a scratch like line then yes.

You probably got a piece of paper or something in the image path or the paper path. If it is a nice clean line it is more likely to be in the image path, if it is smudgy line it something may be scraping the toner off the paper before it gets to the fuser. Check the paper path.

Download and use a Postscript driver for the printer. Then it will work

The "fuser" uses heat to melt the toner-ink onto the paper, to "fix" the ink to the paper.

Open the printer, remove the cartridge, and make sure that the fuser is _exactly_ "seated" into its socket. Replace the cartridge, and try againn.

Otherwise, take the printer to a qualified technician.

On the left side there's a board marked "LEFX"
and nearby on the frame is a label with the

(but isn't) and the other is on the frame and
aligns with the toner. (there is another set
for the belt/drum unit) These are coils which
are excited by a 125kHz signal and have a chip

RFID technology. In fact, the coil in the toner
cartridge is referred to as the "tag".

The Dell 3010cn will connect fine with a standard USB cable to the port on your cpu. Just connect the USB cable up, connect the power cable to a socket and run the installation from the software cd.

repleace toner if it dont help then its fuser issue

you need to align you cartridge by going to printer properties and align cartridge

its no support office 2007 font please request service vandor thay solve properly or install office 2003 then solve problem,may be its problem office 2007 not printer

If I remember correctly, there is a guide that allows the print to exit through the back of the machine or up, over and on the top of the machine. That guide may need to be clicked into place before the main back cover is shut.

is this strip white? or another color? if its white take a q-tip and clean the scanner window. you do this from inside the printer. on the roof of the compartment youll find a grove about 3/16 wide and as wide a a piece of paper stick the q-tip in there be gentle and slide it back and fourth across the length of the grove if the q- tip is dirty you got the problem.
if the strip is black you have one of 2 things the thermister on the fuser has hit bare metal or a leaking toner cartridge

Is the paper pushed all the way back into the MPF?
If yes, what type/size paper is your application sending?
If you try to print the internal Printer Settings report, does it print?
This error typically means that no paper is sensed in the MPF OR that the wrong type/size paper is in the tray. (MPF settings do not match job specs)

Instead of opening the the front cover, as you would to replace toner, open the top cover on the printer. there should be a blue handle in which to remove the drum.
