That doesn't sound good at all. But let's start diagnosing and totally solve this issue. Let's start with the power outlet where you currently plug the refrigerator in. Can you please try to plug a smaller appliance in it? We just can't take the fridge back where you got it just yet (it's heavy, I know).

The relay on the compressor has more than likely when out, or the compressor itself. If you've never had th relay overload changed on it then that is your problem. If you were to get behind the machine, take the lower panel off to see the compressor, there is a box on the side of the compressor with wires going to it. Thats the part that is bad. The part number for it is 12555902 for the relay and the capacitor is c8931612. This is an easy fix. Install Water Filtration Cartridge (some

a. Remove bypass cartridge from water filter head in rear
right corner of refrigerator section. Twist cartridge
counterclockwise 1/4 turn and pull down to remove.
Save bypass for use at a later date.

Sharla, It could possibly be the ice maker rod that tells the ice maker whether it's full or not. If it's in the down position it wants to make ice and it'll make a clicking noise. Lift the rod up if it's down. Hopefully this helps!? Best to you.
