There is a power button on tv, if it doesnt work u have child mode activated or just faulty tv

could be a bad fuse inside t.v. check outlet where t.v. is plugged in.cord on t.v. could be bad.

When I encounter people trying to solve HDMI-related problem, I invariably, immediately recommend switching over to component cabling. The picture is better, and there are far less issues with both HDCP and resolution switching issues.

First I recommend you unplug all signal and power cables to your set and walk away for a good ten minutes. This ought to reset the brain inside your TV into thinking it is being setup for the first time. Reconnect the antenna, power and signal cabling, turn your set on, and run through the Auto Search function of your TV's on screen display setup menus, taking care that 'AIR' is selected as your TV's Tuner Mode (it will have most likely reverted back to 'CABLE'). This ought to help it find your antenna's DTV channels.

Ur power supply board is dead.U have no electronics or machanicals skills at all,is that correct?Take it to the tv shop,it should cost u half of the price of the new tv to repair it.

Check for Bad capacitors on power supply board 1000uf 10v or 2200uf 10volts.

Sounds power supply board is bad and requires replacement in TV.
Available in Shop Jimmy and ask local TV tech for replacement if you are not comfortable with replacing power board in TV.

You should try to use the Component cables. The red/green/blue cables as this will give you a better picture. Make sure your DVD player and TV will support those cable. However, the cable your using now will work. Your TV might be on the wrong input. Look for a button on the TV that says INPUT or SOURCE to change the input. It might be only on the remote control and not on the TV itself.

Sometimes a universal remote wont work with a particular brand. I know the same problem exists for Emerson and Syvania tv's and many other 2nd tier brands as well. Try seeing if you can find the customer support number for your tv. Maybe you can then get the parts department in ordering an exact replacement for your set. If you cannot do so, try 1-800 remotes or their website. They will ask for your model number. Let me know if that helps.

According to specs, the PLTV-32 supports up to 720p.

That's essentially the same as 1080i, and should work with a 1080i signal.

Yeah, it can be fixed but not cheap.

Once the screen is shattered, replace the tv. You can buy them much cheaper than repairing one.

A replacement screen will cost as much as a new TV, plus they aren't as easy to replace as the ond CRT's.
