Unfortunately, Xerox doesn't yet offer Windows 7 support for your device. However, they announced a release of the Windows 7 driver until June 2010.
Still, you can try installing the Windows Server 2008 driver:

Now ... are you sure your device is not 6110MFP? Because Xerox Phaser 6110MFP does have Windows 7 support and you can download the driver here:

Check the fuser for paper stuck in it. Check that the 'paper out' sensor arm (in the fuser) is not broken. If it IS broken, you'll need a new fuser.

NOTE: Print a Configuration Page before resetting NVRAM. Press and hold the [Up] arrow button on the Control Panel, and then press the [OK] button. This will automatically display the Service Tools menu on the Display Screen.

1. Press the [OK] button.
2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Reset NVRAM], and then press the [OK] button.

To reset the printers NVRAM using the Control Panel:

1. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button on the Control Panel to select [Troubleshooting] on the Display Screen, and then press the [OK] button.
2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Service Tools], and then press the [OK] button.
3. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Reset NVRAM], and then press the [OK] button.
4. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button to select [Exit], and then press the [OK] button to return to the Main screen.

Anonymous I suspect something serious has caused a problem. I expect you must have sorted the problem by now. Good Luck.

All models of machines have sensors to detect an overheat situation, feel free that the machine will shut down if it reaches too hot of a condition.

If you tried to print on a transparency sheet for ink jet printers, in your laser printer, you could have damaged the heating rolls. The plastic could be molten on the roll and you won't be able to remove it without damaging the roll. As long as there is just a spec of plastic on the roll you will have paper jams. There should be transparency sheets for laser printers to, but always make sure you have those before using in a laser printer.

Try to disassemble the printer. On the left side try to find magnetic clutch with small tension spring. This must be the problem. You can disconnect the spring and try to cut a few mm of springs length, so she will become stronger. The black toner 106R01274 may be bad or empty. Try replacing that first.

It is possible that the Image unit is bad also 108R00744

Replace the drum unit.

Image units can't be reset by software. There is a chip that needs to be replaced on the cartridge if you refill it with new toner. It should be available from the same place you got the toner. (I assume you refilled it and it still says it is out of toner)

Use the RESET feature (see the user manual page 43 or about).
Set it to: RESET ALL.
The problem should now be solved.

For me this used to happen quite a lot. Finally I figured out it was because the waste toner container was full.Buy a new one, or empty it.

The fuser is located inside the "Imagning unit" and can not be replaced separately.

by removing all the toner one by one check for toner spill clean it check the roller and the drum wipe it with soft cloth gently not to make a scratch on it

But I believe this is another case where a version hasn't been created for Windows 7 and therefore will not run.

No reset for imaging unit, only when you change it(autoreset).

You can reset Fuser and Transfer Roller this way:

To reset the fuser and transfer roller life usage from the printers control panel:
a. From the main menu select, Menu-Setup --> Maintenance --> Check other.
b. Select the appropriate part name from the list by using the Up Scroll and Down Scroll buttons
c. Select Reset.
