The paper is not being picked up quick enough. The cause is probably a worn or dirty pick up roller. Try cleaning the pick up roller under the machine, the tend to become dirty with paper dust and hence lose grip and slip on the paper. If its worn you can try cutting new tread in it with a stanley blade, just be careful not to cut right through the pick up tyre.

This sounds like the doctor blade within the black developer unit inside the image unit has become contaminated. This means that not enough black toner will be attracted to the developer roller. This usually manifests itself as feint thin lines of print running vertically through the text being printed. This can be repaired and is a known issue with this image unit.
If the printer is in warranty tell them you want it replaced, if not then take the image unit back to the supplier you bought it from and demand a replacement.

Is the waste toner cartridge full? If so you can vacuum out the waste toner and re-use the container. The waste container is on the left hand side with the front flap down.

take the cartridges out and put it back in and see if it works

I've not solved it yet, but I've got a guy coming out from Xerox to look at it.

Yeah it is a problem with the chip that is on the cartridge. You can go to the Xerox.com site and contact them directly by phone or e-mail.
Just once at the xerox.com site, select your country.

Hi, what you want to do is, first; (shutdown) your Scanner, next (shutdown) the computer. Disconnect the scanner, and unplug it from the outlet. Disconnect scanner cables from the computer; Note: do not change anything on the computer. Reconnect cables to the computer. Plug scanner back into the power outlet; turn on computer, turn scanner on. This may clear the (Freeze); but the (Error) might appear again. Thanks paul7of9

when u take out the toner cartridge u will see a foam roller ....with a key take out the roller( notice how it is positioned you will have to reposition it) take the foam roller and run it through a clean sheet of paper a few time you will see how the paper dust will start to come off. do it a few times the roller should appear darker, pop it back in and youre set. you are welcome :o)

check the waste toner (it's on the left side of drum unit when you open the front cover) cartridge or paper jam if blinking!

The fuser is worn it will need replacing, it is usually located in the back of the printer it is a cartridge the has heating roller that heats the paper for fuses the toner to the paper. One side of the fuser is worn and it needs replacing...

is the toner cartridge and have a manufacturing defect or the toner cartridge scouer adaptable and look

There is a problem in the fuser unit check component oven lamp thermistor and fuse thermostat etc. ..and then if not dispear the message you change main board

The problem could be that the cartridge you bought isn't compatible with your printer.
