Sounds like your fuser is getting ready to stop working. Your fuser creates the heat so the toner from the cartridge is baked onto the paper as it passes through, your toner is rubbing off, so you could try cleaning, but I'm sure it'll be a new fuser, or possibly a fuser roller. Dead formatter is the most likely cause. These units were notorious for this failure. Move on, buy a new printer, because you have a very good chance of getting another bad formatter if you buy parts for it.

Hi Terry Use a Flashlight and check carefully. There is probably a simple Infra Red Light source shining across a gap and being blocked from the sensor. The wires on the back of the Light source & IR Sensor are the giveaway. It thinks it's blocked!.... They can't really think, just a switch! Could be a switch also but a IR Detector is more likely. Remove the toner cartridge and use a source of high pressure air to blow out. Obviously the sensor could be broken... Usually Not the case!

Hi, The error means the storage device that you are storing jobs is full or out of space. 68.2 may mean a DIMM slot? Are you using a memory DIMM in addition to was is standard with your CLJ3000? If so, it may be full or out of memory or possible incompatible. If you are using a external hard disk, you may be out of space and may require you delete some files. Obviosly your magazine (Place of taking paper) of the printer is set to legal. The lights is lighting, couse the printer is telling you: You want me to print on letter, but I don have any letter, so please confirm that you want me to print on legal.In order to avoid this set the printer to all types of paper available.
