You dont need it.

Take out and replace the batteries.

Call the number that came with the warranty.

To turn the player on - take out the batteries and replace them with new ones
To download songs - remove the cap and there should be a usb drive. put it in your computers usb port.

Its at the back of the player. Take off the cap for the USB and then slide the bumpy patch to the left and it should open.

Delete and reformat everything then try again.

it's because you have probably formatted it on windows 98 so windows xp or latest versions don't know the format of the drive.....

Mp3 player can not play video files . Because mp3 is an audio format .
To play a video on a tiny device , you need to have another device called Mp4 player .

Follow the instructions below: -Connect the disk storage (MP3 player) to your computers USB port. If the computer pops up a window asking what do you want windows to do? Click cancel. -Right click on My Computer and click on Explore. A split window will pop up and display the contents and drives on your computer. First decide what music you want, then connect your element MP3 usb to the computer to tranfer the music to it, Open windows media player and in the rip column click and choose format option. From the Format drop down, click on MP3 and rip the music. transfer all of the music into your device.
