System Error: 01:10Problem Description: Electronics Module failure. The possible cause could be:1. The Electronics Module is of the wrong type (a 16 MBElectronics Module will not work in a 24" Model).2. Reading, writing or initializing the EEROM failed.3. One of the ASIC's was not found within the Serial Bus thatconnects the Electronics Module to the Carriage Assembly.4. One of the ASIC's did not respond to the Serial Bus that connects the Electronics Module to the Carriage Assembly.5. The Electronics Module is requesting a move to the ServiceStation while the previous move is still being completed.6. The Electronics Module Cooling Fan has reached its currentlimit.Corrective Action: Replace the Electronics Module

Check and see if the carriage moves freely from left to right (with power off). If not, make sure the carriage belt is good & the rails it slides on are clean and properly lubricated (light oil).The paper is detected when the carriage moves over it to determine how wide and how long the sheet is...if the carriage isn't moving, then it says no paper.It could also be that the line sensor on the carriage is dirty or defective and can't "see" the reflection from the paper. If cleaning the sensor (it is on the RH side of the carriage) doesn't resolve the problem, then the sensor would need replaced, if it is still available that is...

Dear Friend, It's a serious issue what I understood & confusion is control panel locking facility not avail in this model, how its locked?.. Simple method to catch the faulty part through power LED behaving s..(Power led located on power button)# LED is OFF - This indicates that the Power Supply Unit iscompletely dead. Try the following:1 Check that power cord is connected correctly to the Printer and to the Power Socket.2 Replace the Power Supply Unit# LED is ON (all the time) - This indicates that the Main PCA is completely dead. Replace the Electronics Module# LED is Flashing - A problem has been detected with the previous firmware upgrade. Try re-send the firmware upgrade file.# LED Flashes twice every few seconds - The Printer cannot detect the Interconnect Cable. Try the following:1 Check that the Interconnect Cable is connected correctly to the inter connector PCB & Electronic module.2 If the Interconnect cable is connected correctly and the LED continues to flash twice then replace the Interconnect Cable LED Flashes 3 times every few seconds - The Printer cannotdetect the Front Panel. Try the following:1 Check that the Front Panel is connected correctly to the Interconnect PCA.2 If the Front Panel is connected correctly and the LED continues to flash 3 times then replace the Front PanelLED Flashes 4 times every few seconds - This indicates that the Electronics Module has failed. Replace the Electronics ModuleLED Flashes 5 times every few seconds - This indicates that the Electronics Module has failed. You mean to say that line sensor not working, How you confirmed? Are you check the error codes?Align media & Data both led's are glowing?..If yes, clean it with solvent or replace line sensor which was mounted beside of carriage assembly.(see fig)If error message is different, pl share it, for further solution.

Check the expiration date in the ink menu of the printer
