The brightness menu screen is stuck on!

Please try to turn the monitor off. Hold down the Menu button while the monitor is turned off, then press the Power button again to turn the monitor back on. This should unlock your OSD menu from your screen. regards

OK, I've figured it out! There's something wrong with the control chip, so if you don't have it under warranty, here's what you can do:
1. Turn off the monitor
2. Unscrew the face of the monitor
3. Remove the bottom part of the face from the backside, so you can see the chip
(the control chip is located on the face of the monitor, under the buttons)
4. You will see a small white connector about 5mm wide, UNPLUGG it
5. Put the small cable that you've unconnected under the front, so you can close the monitor back
6. Close the monitor and plug it back in

That's it. You won't be able to change your settings (they autoadjust anyway), but you won't have to throw the monitor away!

Peace.

My samsung computer monitor says

It can be the PC's video card is not sending the signal to the monitor, you need to try another monitor with this PC or try this monitor with other PC first.
If it is the monitor problem, the cause will be due to bad laogic board ( the board where the VGA cable is attached to), it uses sueface mounted components which will be hard to repair without proper tools and diagram.
So we need to narrow down the problem first.

My monitor is turn off

That means your video card and/or your monitor does not support that resolution. Check what the maximum resolution your monitor can handle. You can find that out by asking your monitor's manufacturer or looking up the model of your monitor online. If you're sure that the monitor can handle that resolution but its not working, try updating or reinstalling your video card driver.
