When i turned on the camera, the lens popped out

Your problem is likely due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may be to weak/worn to properly power the camera, or the camera may require professional repair.

When I press the power button, the camera does not turn on.

Looks like you got a shutter that is stuck this is common with caeras I would take it into a local shop and have the camera examined and a estimate drawn up to get this problem solved.

S730 lens in extended position camera not working

The problem you describe is frequently battery related. Make sure that you have the correct battery type installed, and that the batteries are fresh/fully charged. If the problem persists, you may have corrosion on the battery contacts inside that camera that is preventing full battery power from flowing into the camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the inside camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sand paper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and reinstall them in the camera. This cleaning solves the problem about 90% of the time, and I hope it works for you.

I changed the memory card of my camera...

Try this trick of mine It works on may cameras of this style..

OK you are probably going to think I am loony giving you this advise But No I am completely sane!

Get a can of compressed air OR acces to a compressor at your local garage Get them to fit the triggered air blower tool to it.

Blow around the lens in all the extension joins the firmly slap it in the palm of you hand with the side of the camera making contact with you palm. Do the procedure two or 3 times and in between the slaps turn it on to activate the lens mechanism. I have now fixed about 80 of these cameras with this method. I obtained the fix from Sony who charge $90 to do exactly the same. Keep at it as it will eventually work. One tip, make sure the battery is charged before you do this.

Keeps switching off, brand new batteries,

Did you check to see that the batteries you're using are the once specified in the manual. That is a major cause of such problems of shut off.

Camera or cell problem??

A tv remote needs an extremely low amount of power. In fact, many people save the batteries from other devices when they stop working and place them in their remotes. Questions to ask yourself...are the batteries old?....have they been recharged many, many times?...have I accidentally allowed them to completely discharge?...have I cleaned the battery contacts in the camera and the batteries themselves with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol?

Black blob appears on display screen and the background is white

This usually means that the liquid crystal has been broken in that section. Usually caused by something poking or pressing on that section of the screen. The only solution is to have it repaired or replace the camera. I'd get an estimate from an authorized repair shop or Samsung directly, and then weigh the options against buying a new camera, buying a working used one, or paying for the repair.

LCD screen is totally white and absent of color

Sounds like a loose ribbon cable -- the one that connects the screen to the circuitry inside the camera.

Try squeezing the body of the camera near the bottom 'Samsung' logo, to try to snug-up the connection. Brace the front (under the lens) with your index fingers, and press firmly with your thumbs on the back over the logo just under the screen.

You might try squeezing around the other edges of the screen for good measure in case something else came loose.
