Replace paper pick up roller tray2.. take out tray2 cassette, you can see the pick up roller..un lock both side lock to take out the roller..if no part avail remove roller Tyre, re-fix in different angle..

Clean paper path sensors..Replace paper feed roller..

Try through manual & tray2 checkClean paper all path sensors.Replace paper pick up rollers.

it is a formatter problem. change the formatter

i have the same error. i tried to change the fuser and formatter but with no success. i think it can be a problem of output sensors. when i will find the problem, i will post it

i don't know if can be any shortcuts to print the configuration if the formatter doesn't work properly. the configuration is stored on formatter memory. if the formatter is in good condition you may follow the menu. to change the formatter is pretty easy. you can search a manual on internet.

try to remove the dimm. try to switch on without dimm. it not successfully than try to check the cables from the power board to the formatter. try to push them in thir place. If this is not successfull too than it is a formatter problem. try to change the formatter

generally it is a fuser problem. Try to change the fuser if you have any additional. If you don't have than try to replace the presure roller. You have to check the condition of the bushing too.

As far as i know it is a formatter problem. Did you test it with another formatter?

Analyse what type of jam it is...based on that we can shoot the trouble.1. Paper is jamming before entry in fuser and its folds like curl in the cartridge area.. A. Fuser Teflon sleeve not rotating or slow rotation results media(paper)unable to reached the destination in specified interval. Replace fuser assm or Teflon sleeve.2. Paper jamming after fuser assembly crossed little bit ( approx 1-2 inch).A. Clean fuser out paper sensor, check sensor flag & flag spring located in fuser assm.3. Paper jammed after fuser crossed more than 6 inches..A. Check paper pick up roller warn out(tray1 or 2), check registration sensor located under registration assm.How to remove fuser assm: remove back door, see the snap shot... Symptom that Teflon sleeve not rotating properly..If you are Tec guy replace Teflon sleeve & Pressure roller at a time to shoot out the issue..or else replace fuser assembly.. P/No:RM1-3740-000(120V),RM1-3741-000(220V)..if you are observed grinding sound, replace 20T gear P/No RU5-0378..Along with the fuser..See the snap shot..

One of the fans are not working. Unfortunatly, HP printers are not the easiest printers to fix. I reccomend having a certified HP technician repair the broken fan. If the printer is still under warranty, contact HP. They will either send someone out to fix it or replace the unit.
