mine does the same thing. i have to let it warm up for 5 minutes or so, turn it off and then back on, and then it's fine. Does anyone know what's causing this problem?

There is no HDMI input provided to this TV.

Check your laptop with the same VGA cord on some projector or a monitor. If it works there, then there is a problem with your TV's VGA switching circuit. If it does not work, then there is problem with either the VGA cord or laptop's VGA port. To rule out the possibility VGA cord , replace it with new one. Please give the feedback for this so that further diagnosis can be done, if you are comfortable with the TV's electronics.

Hook them up to tv's INPUT of the same colors

Then turn tv to input or av channel.

your output cable is in the back of your t.v. there is a color designated on its hole then you have to buy a a cable in any electronic shop like components cable or hdmi cable try to read the back panel of your tv

you have to use the HDMI cable to connect, it is a serial type connector and use the remote control to select the HDMI input on the remote .
On the remote control select the video source button Hope this help, thanks for asking

Ur tv LCD Screen is Damage,can't not repair burn in problem.Only way to replaced the whole LCD screen.
Tv compannies don't sell out only LCD Screen,they only sell out as with new tv only.Live with the burn in,or save the tv as part for the new one same model u buy.

it can be the backlight inverter board is bad or the power supply is not supplying 24vdc to the inverter board.

I had the same problem with my Samsung series 6 32" Lcd. After many hours of trying different settings and banging my head on the wall I found the solution. What the problem is your VGA cable not supporting the high resilotion of your Samsung TV. The simple solution is to buy a new VGA cable that supports HD.
