My camera says card locked but I have no memory card in the camera. I can not take any pictures

The camera won't take photos without a card unless that model has a menu setting to allow that option (though nothing is stored). Put a different card in the camera and format it. If it doesn't see the card try formatted it first in the computer and then format it in the camera before you try shooting.

How to reset

Don't think toy fine a reset button on or in the camera. You only can "cold boot" the camera, by removing the battery and after a few moments reinsert it. If that does not solve the problem, you should contact a certifies cervce centre for your brand, or go to the dealer you bought the camera.

Can I retrieve deleted files NV10?

you need rely on professional file recovery tool to get them back. A popular one is asoftech data recovery. This tool can deep scan the memory card and recover your lost files back without requiring extra skills. Here is the steps might be helpful to you:1. Connect camera memory card to computer. Under "My Computer", note the drive letter assigned to your memory card (usually G: or H:). If not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.2. Download asoftech data recovery program on your compute. here is the link: http://www.asoftech.com/adr/3. Install and start the program, select the drive where your lost files located, click 'Next'. Now the scanning process will start to search the deleted files. After a while you will then get a list of recoverable files. 5. Press Recover to perform full recovery.

Deleted pictures on my samsung nv10

We should refer to an expert in this case. Although i am not so sure if the pictures can still be retrieved in digicam cases or if it is somehow similar to deleted file retrieval in PCs where there is still a possibility of "undeleting".

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
