Machine will not maintain display even after replacing inverter?

The inverter board must match the original in everyway, part number on back should be compared, disconnect to see if the machine will boot this is a secondary problem that did not exist before the part change. The backlight behind the display is another possibility but less likely, double check all your connections.

Toshiba A135-S4527 starts to power up then shuts down.

When the CPU overheats then it will shut down (i.e. thermaloverload) and won't boot up again until it has cooled down. If this is theproblem is not fixed then the CPU will eventually fail. A faulty fan causes the problem or the fan and heat sink assembly are cloggedwith dust.Check the CPU fan to see if it spins freely, if not replace the fan. If the fan and heat sink is clogged with dust the remove the dust and make surethe vents are clear and dust free. Use a small brush and can of compressed airto do this.

Took my laptop back to a earler restore, nowit says my vista is not genuine and wont exept my product key code

It most likely is not a genuine copy then. The date you've restored it too could be before it was patched or cracked. You could re-crack and patch it into thinking it is genuine but this is technically illegalGo back into system restore and you should be able to "undo" the latest restore, it could work.Or alternatively ring Microsoft up, just to confirm if its a genuine copy or not, as it could be a weird technical problem.

Ican't playback audio on my Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 PC Notebook

first ..check teh system driver ..Open the control panel ..and in there look for the sound ..and in this windows look to see if the changes can be made..and the volumes are up .and so ..If it does not allow you to make changes ..or the driver is missing under the devices..it means you need to reinstall the driver ..same this you can check in device manager ..Just click right on computer icon (my comp .for xp ) and select properties and in there select device manager ..(select hardware and after that device manager if you running win .XP) ..In thsi list ..look for teh audio driver and see if it is installed proper ..If it is not ..it will apper with a ask sign and will be yellow marked ..In this case you need to download the driver from the support site ..or use teh drivers disk you got from the seller ..and install the audio driver again ..This should take care of the issue ..If the driver seam to be ok ..than look at the volume not to be muted..and also the volumes on the volume control to be razed..(volume mixer for windows 7 ) Including the wave volume ..cause if this is down ..it affects the payback ..even if you might have system sounds..Good luck !

Unlocking

Hello there. My name is Alex and im here to help solve your problem

Is it your windows username password you've forgotten? If this is the case, then its pretty simple. Log into the administrators account when windows boots, if you cannot see the administrators account, then quickly press twice ctrl + alt + delete. You will then need to type in administrator and you will now have access

Next, go to the control panel, user accounts and enter the user account which you cannot enter, you will then see the option 'remove password' and you will not be prompted to enter the password, it will just remove it. Finally log out of the administrators account and log into your own

If you have any problems or more questions, please let me know

TOSHIBA SATELLITE A 305 IS

Hi There and Welcome to FixYa!

It's really not ideal to "overcharge" your laptop computer as this would result to this problem that you're having right now. The primary step that you should try, having determined that the AC adapter works, is to :
  • Unplug everything from your laptop, including the power cord along with all USB connections.
  • Carefully remove the battery of your computer.
  • Press and hold on the "Power" button for about 10 seconds.
  • Connect the AC power on your laptop (without the battery) and try to turn it on.
  • If successful, do the same thing with the battery attached this time.
This would help you zero down on the cause of the problem if it's the battery, ac adapter or the computer's motherboard. I am highly recommending for you to contact Toshiba's technical support if the above steps did not help you at all :

Thank you for using FixYa.

I turn the laptop on,

try removing the battery while the laptop is off of course and then plugging in the power adapter and turning it on. If all works then its your battery that is the culprit and needs to be replaced ....if it still doesn't work you may have bad memory if you know how to remove the memory with the laptop off and the battery removed then do so ...it could be one of them .. but replacing them in-pairs is also a good time to upgrade to more memory for better performance 'if its not the memory and not the battery could be a flaky hard drive or you will need a new motherboard if the hard drive is flaky all may be lost bad mother board means its time for a new computer ...but your files may be OK on the old hard drive and could b saved to your new unit ....good luck !!
