In order to reset the BIOS password for your toshiba laptop, you need to bring the NB to the nearest Authorized Service Provider for Toshiba since only a certified Toshiba Technician can reset the BIOS Password. The technician will remove the jumper inside the laptop which is integrated on the motherboard and the BIOS Password will be reset. All issues regarding the BIOS Password are directly handled by Toshiba Authorized Service Provider.

the fan is used to keep the motherboard cool. if the motherboard dosnt reach a high tep the fan will not kick on. it's a good thing. means motherboard is staying cool.
