Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine the type of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI and WMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX. If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatible video file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format that your MP3 player uses. After video conversion then copy the video files to your MP3 player using the USB cable from your computer. Click on this link for instructions on converting video files for MP3 players :-

It won't show up in iTunes - it is not supported by mac. Windows only. :( If you have access to a windows computer it is easier to use that. If not, then you will need to convert all your music to mp3s to upload them. The player should show up as a "removable disk" on your desktop. You can drag and drop music files in that way - should work.

My mix max doesnt turn on. it was working and all
If this doesn't help, the MixMax must be opened up. By CAREFULLY prying the corners loose, you can remove the back. You will break several of the smaller retainer clips during this, but it's OK. The main retainers will hold the unit together just fine once completed. Once opened, unplug the battery. NOTE THE ORIENTATION of the red and black wires. Use any 5V 500ma or less power supply and connect to the battery. Charge it for at least 30 seconds. return the battery to the unit, and reassemble. DO NOT TURN IT ON. Plug the USB cord in and let it charge completely.
The MixMax will disable the power if there is an unexpected power interruption, then the battery will run completely dead. Once dead, it cannot detect the USB when connected.
The mix it will not
I recently got one in the same state (not working) and successfully repaired it. I am guessing that you had it plugged in, and forgot to "safely remove" it by clicking the USB disconnect icon on teh computer.
The MixMax will disable the USB power when it detects a power surge or interruption. The battery runs completely dead, and it cannot detect the USB connection once plugged in. The fix is simple, but technical.
Remove the back of teh unit. Use a butter knife and start seperating near the SD slot. You will break several of teh smaller retainer clips, but the large ones in the corners will hold it just fine once complete. Note the polarity of the wires (red and black) to the battery. Unplug the battery from the board, and connect the battery to a 5V power source with 500ma or less of power. Charge the battery for about 30 seconds. Plug the battery in, return the cover (snap it back together) DO NOT POWER THE UNIT UP!
Plug in the USB cord and you should see signs of life as it enters charge mode. DO NOT UNPLUG THE USB until the battery is fully charged. When you do want to remove it, use the USB device icon near the clock on your computers desktop. If you forget to use the icon, you will be repeating this process again. If you lack the technical know how to do this, print it out and have one of your more technical type friends do it. (everyone knows at least one geek)
