I have video but zero audio at all
you must verify first where the problem came from.check in the sound set up menu if set to off, if ok at this time you can use a powered pc speaker to isolate the cause. hooked up the powered pc speaker to the audio output jack of the tv, if you can get sound there the cause will be bad amplifier circuit.if you can not get sound there then the problem is bad sound processor at the board.

Off and on switch not working
Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

No image, Just red and blue vertical line on display.
If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following
symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can
examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life
of your monitor or TV by several years.
Take it to a repair shop.

Dvd plays in black only
Be sure dvd player is correctly connected. If you connect the yellow video composite out the dvdto the input on the tv that is not yellow you are probably trying to watch it thru the component in . The component in is 3 wires green blue and red. if all three are not connected the picture will have no color. If you have 3 wire connection on dvd connect it to 3 wire in on tv the other red and white are audio.

The bottom stand will not come out.
Some stands even if the screws are removed won't come out just because it's shaped in a way that it is retained by the rear plastic cover. So unless the last one is removed, the stand won't come out.And make sure the stand doesn't get loose and falls on your toes when you remove the big back cover.

I have a DVD that is stuck in the player, the eject button does not release it. Help!
You'll have to take the cover off. This only consists of a few screws to remove, and lifting off the cover. When you have the cover off, try turning any white gears (carefully) to open the drawer. Some tray mechanisms have bad design. They refuse to open after a few months. This is in the design of the plastic parts and mechanisms of the cd drawer. Flawed design.
