Windows keeps asking for driver for SCSI/raid host controller

Visit the motherboard manufacturers website for the drivers you need. Even if you don't use the RAID function the hardware is still built on the motherboard and you will need the drivers for windows to communicate with the hardware correctly. You might also find the drivers on the "Driver" CD that came with the motherboard.

My mobo ASUS K8NE DELUXE with winxp sp3 cant

I assume the driver most likely isn't compatible with windows xp anymore. You should upgrade your OS and try again, use the cpu chipset instead for video output until then.

Is my mobo toast, or can I salvage it?

I've come across this quite often, and yes - the mobo is probably dead.
Just to make sure though,
Try another PSU,
If you have any cards in eg modem take those out and try booting.
Also try a different memory strip
If the board is faulty then I'm afraid the easiest option is new mobo.

The cause of the freezing, or locking up, of your computer, is due tosome either corrupted or missing files. And more specifically, missing orcorrupted registry files. These are the files which tell everything on your howit is suppose to work. Basically, they are configuration files. And if thesefiles get corrupted, or messed up, it can wreck havoc.

Can an internal sata hard drive be used on the K8N-E Deluxe motherboard?

Yes it can! You can install up to 4 SATA drives and 4 IDE drives in the system. If you don't have any SATA power cables on your power supply, you can get a "Molex to SATA" adapter to install it.

Otherwise, you're good to use SATA.

How do I enhance my Asus PadFone X mini speaker loudness?

Look for a program called Sound Booster or one called DFX. DFX is my favorite because it not only boosts the volume, but lets you add other effects to enhance you sound as well. There is a free version. but to get all the effects you have to upgrade to the paid. If audio is important to you, check it out.

Graphics card no picture on monitor when connected via HDMI or any cable?

The issue you are experiencing with your graphics card and monitor can be caused by various factors. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to identify and resolve the problem: 1. Check power connections: Ensure that the graphics card has the necessary power connections properly connected. Some higher-end graphics cards require additional power connectors, such as 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe power connectors. Make sure they are firmly plugged in. 2. Verify BIOS settings: Access your motherboard's BIOS settings and check if the primary display output is set to the PCIe slot where your graphics card is installed. It should be set to prioritize the discrete graphics card instead of the integrated graphics (if applicable). 3. Update BIOS and drivers: Visit the Gigabyte website and make sure you have the latest BIOS version installed for your motherboard. Additionally, download and install the latest drivers for your graphics card from the XFX or AMD website. Outdated firmware or drivers can cause compatibility issues. 4. Reset BIOS: Try resetting the BIOS to its default settings. Locate the CMOS battery on your motherboard, remove it for a few minutes, then reinsert it. This action resets the BIOS settings to their defaults and may resolve any conflicting configurations. 5. Check for physical damage: Inspect the graphics card for any physical damage, loose connections, or faulty components. Ensure that it is securely inserted into the PCIe slot and that there are no visible signs of damage on the card or its connectors. 6. Test with a different monitor and cable: Connect your graphics card to a different monitor using a different cable (e.g., DisplayPort, DVI) to rule out potential issues with the HDMI cable or the monitor itself. This helps determine if the problem lies with the graphics card or the specific combination of monitor and cable. 7. Check for motherboard compatibility: Verify that your graphics card is compatible with your motherboard. Check the manufacturer's website for compatibility lists or consult the user manual for your motherboard. In some cases, a BIOS update might be necessary to ensure compatibility. 8. Seek professional assistance: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it's advisable to contact the technical support of your motherboard or graphics card manufacturer. They may have specific troubleshooting steps or recommend further action, such as warranty service or component replacement. Remember to handle your hardware with care and take necessary precautions, such as grounding yourself and disconnecting the power supply, before performing any physical checks or adjustments.
