It has been known that this device is not for those inexperienced with doing this sort of stuff such as me and you (no offense intended).... The manual has been noted by others who have bought the product to not be clear and I cannot give you directions for setup, but if you are able to return it... then you can get a more user-friendly router :) Sorry for the inconvience :(

Dlinkap web page is not opening
you will have to reset the router
disconnect the power supply and press te reset button for more then 3 second
now you will be able to enter the router with factory setting 192.168.0.1
Getting 169.254...
possibly cat5 cable problem or your DWL - 2100AP is only on wireless mode.
please check and put on mixed mode also.

Try changing your wireless channel, you might be getting interference from other electronics. You can change the channel in the router's web browser interface. This link should open it up for you, just need to input right user/password.

No super g, no turbo
Super G is if you have a Super G card or speed boost is what they call it. You have to have a Speed bust wireless card for this feature to work. You should just upgrade to wilress N you be glad you did and it will be much cheaper in the long run.

Generally, you don't want any overlap with WiFi when it comes to transmittion frequencies.
If they're close enough to overlap and interfere with each other, they should be running on their own channels.
Even if they are part of a roaming network, with the same SSID, they need to be on different channels to work optimaly.
