I expect the brushes/bar are removable. the man manufacturers can come up with some realyy ingenious ways of putting thier machines together!

There are at least 18 different models of Powerforce. There are too many parts and pieces to be able to describe what you need without seeing it. I suggest paying your local vacuum shop to put it back together. It may need a new belt, brushroll and/or filters. Do scrimp on these things if you want it to work properly.

have the vacuum disconnect and then get a couple of tools and took the switch and be very careful and then put the new back the same way you took it out.
