You should contact Belkin direct and let them know what you've tried and the kind of problem you're experencing.

As far as I know Belkin gives a lifetime warranty on all their products.

They have a pretty stellar customer service program so just be nice and ask them to send you a new one and they probably will :)

connect the computer to the router and check the IP address on the computer. The default gateway will be the the number that will help you to open the router set up page.
If default gateway is 192.168.2.1 and still you are not able to open the set up, then try this way.
Click Start ==> RUN ==> in run type " http://192.168.2.1" and click OK.

The light on the router should be there. If you do not see any light there, this refers to Faulty Router. Try to play with the wires and see if that could help the situation.

Also, try to wires. They should not be uncut or burnt one.

Reset - On few Models, you would see a switch on the back. Try to OFF and ON the switch again.

There should be a Hole on the back of the router. Take a Pen or Something of that sort and press the pin in the hole and check if that could fix the problem.

If still, the light do not turn ON, you need to get it replaced.

this is because that router is a wired router not a wireless router

Go to the properties of each wireless network card in network connections in your control panel and click on the TCP/IP line and click properties again and ensure obtain ip address automatically is selected and click ok, restart pc. Next, reset the router at the rear if possibe with a pointed implement, then you need to get into the routers settings (192.168.2.1 in your web browser) and look for DHCP, and enable it so as to give your pc's there automatic ip addresses, also check in the general settings if it's a modem router that you have got a internet connection from your ISP and all the dns and ip addresses are showing. Restart all pc's if neccasary and refresh your web browser when trying to get online.

If you mean by the roadrunner that you are connect via a cable, the reason why the signal may fail and stop you from watching streamed video is that wireless is only 54mbps and not the best speed for streaming, but wired streams at 100mbps and is constant speed whereas wireless doesnt give a constant true speed of 54mbps it can reduce considerably.

Go into your router's configuration page (see your router's manual for how to do this, it is an address that looks something like http://192.168.1.1). In there you want to find the wireless security section and change it to WEP security.

You will then need to enter a 64 or 128 bit WEP "key". This is your password to access the wireless network and the way you enter it is you enter a 10-character string (for 64 bit) or a 26-character string (for 128 bit) that contains only the numbers 0-9 and the letters A to F.

Once you save your settings, your router should appear as a "secured" wireless network. When you try to connect, it will ask you for the key. Enter the same key you entered into the router.

you must log in as an administrator account. if you forgot your password for the admin, try to check the back of the router, there maybe a button there that you can reset back to factory default...but be caution, this will delete your recent configuration.

what you should have purchased was a modem/router and not a seperate router to connect to your modem, but the modem should connect to the cable/adsl port (wan) using the initial RJ45 lan cable, and then a lan cable from one of the 4 ports on the rear to each pc.

ok... so I've now installed this on my new pc that i built... first in order to get it to install at all you must download DirectX 7.0 and right click to "--(edit compatibility settings to windows 98/Me and run as administrator)--" remember this as well be doing it a few times. once you do that install DirectX 7.0 and say yes to all. now that this is installed take the .iso file you have and burn it to a cd or DVD-r, once burned you need to go to my computer and right click on the cd/DVD drive, select open (NOT open autoplay), inside the disc menu i want you to go to 2 files... "setup" and "start" need to also have their compatibility settings changed to the above settings. now that these are set stay in the cd menu and double click "setup" this will take you through the setup procedure. after the setup procedure is finished do not view the notes, and continue back to the desktop. now from your start menu load the game and it should run
