I emailed Mega Brand's Consumer Affairs Dept and received the following instructions re Rose Art's Super Shrink Art:


Super Shrinky Dinks Art


Instructions:

Step 1: Place a sheet of Shrinky Dinks over a design with the rough side up. Trace the design including the thin cut line around the edge. When tracing letters, draw your own cut line approximately ¼” away from the letters.

Step 2: Color and decorate your artwork with the other colored pencils. Be sure to stay only on the rough side of the Shrinky Dinks.

Step 3: Ask an Adult to help you with this step. Cut out your colored design from the Shrinky Dinks following the traced cut line. Make sure all of the edges are smooth. Do not leave any sharp corners or they will become very pointy when the art is shrunk. Use a hole, punch if you want to make a key chain.

Step 4: ADULT SUPERVISION REQUIRED FOR BAKING. Pre-heat your home or toaster oven to 325*F (163*C) NO MICROWAVE. Put your creation onto a non-stick cookie sheet with the colored side up. Place in oven and watch until it shrivels up and then flattens out.

I would hold it under water in a sink full of warm soapy water and try to put a cup of soapy water in it then squish around and try to get it in the arm. Dish soap warm water.
