Hi. Check the power cable to make sure it is okay. Try to power from different points. If this does not work, see if the internal fuse is okay. If the fuse is okay then means the power board has an issue. In essence, you can not know what the fault is unless power comes on.

Sounds like unit is in protect mode. This is usually caused by a problem in the amplifier section. Only way to fix is to replace the main board - hope it's under warranty, otherwise it's probably not worth fixing

Turn On unit, make sure there is no disc inside, press Display on remote and go to Settings menu, select RESET all and press Enter.
Turn Off unit for minute, turn it On and load disc and press Play and check picture, if still no colors in picture, check your tv by hooking another video source in same input and confirm it gives color picture.
If tv found OK then its home theater system defect and it got problem in signal output section, now it is hardware issue and qualified tech will fix it by checking its circuit.

Run a "Laser Lens cleaner" thru it several times, preferrably one which uses fluid. You can purchase them just about anywhere for under $20. Beyond that, it would have to be serviced, and they will replace the transport. Usually $150-$200 Hope this helps

Even though the CD plays fine I will still recommend you to run a disc cleaner on that player, to make sure that the lens are clean....

sounds like you have hooked up your system with a component cable these must be wired red 2red green2green blue2blue and this output set on your system and selected on your tv.if you have done this and your cables are ok you may have a fault in your system or tv.
