Are the Double images different colours. If so, may need the convergance adjusted.

Maybe convergence. Are the pictures different colours?

It might be, you are connecting the other end using video jacks and not component jacks. Seen this happen many a times. Before you pay some one, check your line feeds again.

Follow the steps below to switch your TV to game mode without using the remote:

1. Connect the game system to the TV using the AUDIO/VIDEO inputs on the FRONT of the TV.
2. Switch the game system on.
3. Press the "MENU" button on the front of the TV
4. Use the "CH" UP/DOWN buttons on the TV to highlight the "PICTURE" option. This is the first option so should already be highlighted.
5. Press the "VOL UP" button to select this option
6. Use the "CH" UP/DOWN buttons on the TV to highlight the "GAME MODE" option. This is the first option so should already be highlighted.
7. Press the "VOL UP" button to change the GAME MODE setting to "ON"

The TV should automatically switch to GAME MODE if you are using the inputs on the front of the TV.

8. Press "MENU" to exit and play your games.

The only way to possibly do this would be if it has input selection allowed through changing channels. If you go down to channel 3 for example and keep going down the channels does it cycle through the inputs? Some Sylvania models allow this, but I don't believe this one does. You will need at least a universal remote to get it working again to select input. You can get one for only $9.36 with free shipping and no tax here, and it has input selection on it of course:

you will need one for each set.

ck fuse if ok call fuse company.

hook up comp.or change to input your using.

I would suspect defective filter capacitors in the sweep circuits as well as the power supply source voltages.

If you have a menu button on the front of the Tv, you could search for an autoprogram or channel search menu and select that. Otherwise a cheap universal remote might be needed. You also want to make sure it is selected to receive antenna and not cable channels.

This problem sounds like a short inside the picture tube itself unless a driver transistor failed that drives the red gun in the CRT. You may have to take it to an authorized repair facility if the picture tube is still in warranty.
