Um...well when mine does that i unplug it and hold the power button for ten seconds and then plug it back in. Always works for me ;-) hope it works for u.

re seat the lvds cable going to t-con board.

the same thing happend to my daughters the repair guy said this model was discontinued because i has no fan and it gets too hot, he added a fan and it worked with no more prblems, he said without that repair these units ae know to chatch on fire, so take it to a pro. it coust me 100 bucks! HI. this is PC board failure. the pc board is basiclly the brain of the system. all the audio and video ICs are housed on the PC board. you stated you have power so, this Will direct the attention to the PC board. you will have to replace this defective board in order to restore full functions.

U bought it in Euroupean,Asia countries?Yes,it will all those regions countries run on PAL frequincies.If u bought it in the US,Mexico and Canada.No the tv will not run on PAL or any PAL devices.The US,Mexico and Canada run on NTSC and NTSC devices only.

Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board.These two sources,u have the best chances.Dell dose not make many sell in tvs.Dell LCD monitors yes.

Power supply module will be the first place to look at, from what you describe, at least the 5v standby power supply is still working, It can be the power supply module is bad or it is not getting the control signal from the main board to turn on the main power supply on.

yes there is, however you should check the voltages on ur power board. look at the top right for sticker with va, vset, ve, etc.. each one has a voltage next to it in VDC. ground the neg lead, and test each lead with the red tip. if mismatches in 2 or more settings, it is the power board. otherwise, its the main board. remove the board, and ebay the board id stamp for a replacement. should resolve concerns.

mainboard needs replaced.

if u do not smell a burnt board, your power bd is ok. u need to replace the main board with the correct firmware update. if u need further ast get back 2 me. i have serviced over 75 of these units, im familiar with them.

main board needs replaced with the proper updated firmware version. look on ebay for replacement. I saw them listed.

audio board is burnt out and needs replaced. open unit, and trace speaer wires to the small audio bd. remove board, flip over. if burnt, thats the problem. must replace.

when u turn the unit on, if u get a flashing yellow light, its your mainboard. otherwise, its your powerboard, its burnt out. must replace.

you need to call dell ,,give them the serila number ,,and they will tell you what kind of remote you need ,cause the only way to do it is with the remote ,,and they dont sell them indvidually so you have to try n get lucky at a pawnshop or search the web
