I can not find any kits in stock, but I know there some available online if you search or call a few places.

Problem is in either power supply or the Y-Sustain board.

The Y-Sustain is a relatively large board out of which go connections to the side of the display; it's therefore closer to either the left or the right side of the display, has at least one rather large heat sink on it and fat power cables connecting it to the main power supply.

Often there are fuses on that board - one or more. Check those.

if they are blown you can try to replace them, but expect them to blow again - usually the whole board needs to be replaced.

There is a easy fix - Most of you purchased your television at Sears or BrandsSmart Stores - No picture but you can hear sound - the part you need is the upgrade kit - part: TV-3940-01 - the part is not always available.

Try Ebay.com to buy a refurbish one,have many Plasma tvs main boards.Haier too.

there is a repair kit for these haier sets part# TV-3910-01
you can try encompassparts.com and make sure this kit fits your model. The kit includes a few boards that need to be installed together.

We had this problem and the repairman had to put a new kit with all the boards in it.Was under warranty at the time so forget the cost.

if something blew you tv should be giving you a error message in the form of a blinking power light

the blinking light signifies to a repair technician with capacitors or circuits are having an issue they can diagnose the problem via the amount of blinks in between pauses however it will require a technician and some specific tools and schematics to fix and it may be cheaper if its no longer under warranty to purchase a new one

Get the unit replaced if it is brand new. This type of problem is caused by a fault in the LCD panel, not something you can repair yourself. One of the driver chips that runs the display has a shorted output line which creates the red line on the screen. Even though the problem is mildly annoying now it may get worse as time goes on and your warranty runs out.

Looks like you have multiple problems here. First thing you should try is to use a different audio/video source and see if the flickering persists. If it doesn't then it means the problem is not with the tv but your input source(cable box, satellite receiver etc.,)
1) Flashing screen - Do you mean you see the normal image on the tv except that it keeps flashing on and off? If yes then what you have is faulty sustain boards. Usually the y-sus and z-sus boards are the culprits. Boards are usually rather inexpensive compared to other parts of the tv. Together they should run you about 200-250$ + labor if you want to hire a tech to replace them
2)Yes the tv does have inbuilt speakers.
