How do you keep the
Hi, You can take the kneading blade out of the machine after the last kneading cycle and before the final rise. Take the pan out of the machine to do this just to be on the safe side, Hank

That just means that your the oven chamber is too hot from the last loaf you baked in it. It does that because the ingredients have to be at at the correct starting temperature or you won't get a good rise. It's designed to do that.
However, ifIf you have let your machine cool off (open the lid and leave it open after baking for about half an hour) and still shows the HHH then you have a more serious problem and should call or contact Sunbeam.
The 5891 has an O-ring seal inside that helps
Hi, I have looked to expecting to find one but ran into the same thing you did. I didn't try Sunbeam Oster though, maybe they would have one. I buy and sell and repair bread machines sort of as a hobby. If you ebay, I have a cuisinart and your model of sunbeam up for sale this week. If you ebay and are interested in just getting a replacement machine the one I have advertised has never been cooked in so the pan is new. If you ebay just type this Item # in the ebay search bar:

best wishes and happy breadmaking!
What setting will tell me
I looked at the manual for your machine expecting it to indicate that it has a beep alert for "add ins" like a lot of machines do. But yours doesn't do that. The one recipe in your book with add ins I looked at instructed users to put them in with everything else in the beginning.
I'M TRYING TO MAKE RAISON BREAD. I PUT THE CYCLE
Hi, I looked at the manual for your machine and it does not have the "beep" alert for adding fruit and nuts etc.
One of the recipes from your manual just says to add them in the beginning. Given that fact go ahead and add them be fore your last long knead.
Next time just add them with everything else. I was kind of surprised to see you don't have the beep alert for add-ins but per your manual YOU DON'T!..sorry...
The motor will turn on it's own but will not turn
Hi, First, the take empty pan and paddle out of the machine. Try to spin the paddle by hand. If it spins freely that's great. If it does not spin freely the sealed bearing that allows the paddle to spin has failed and you will need a new bread pan. If everything is okay, keep the pan out of the machine and go to a kneading cycle. Look through the window to see if the motor shaft is turning. If not then the belt is loose or fell off. Hank
Crust is hard
For softer crust on standard yeast type breads use milk instead of water....

I have an electronic copy of your manual that I could email to you for free or I could print out the manual on my end and mail you a copy of the manual by US mail. I can do either one. Thanks! Please leave a ranking/rating vote so I can help others with their bread machines too!.........bfn
I've had the Sunbeam Bread machine for 6 yrs. and
Hi,
You might try buying a few of those little packets of yeast. Then try the same recipe that you have been using. If the loaf falls again then your yeast isn't the problem. Recheck your recipe again and be sure you are measuring everything correctly. By the way in baking bread I always use flour marked "bread flour". I never use "all purpose flour" because of poor results in the beginning. I ebay machines all the time and have several in stock if you decide you need one let me know.
I am a new owner
JUST UNPLUG THE MACHINE AND START OVER WITH YOUR PROGRAMMING AFTER YOU PLUG IT BACK IN
Can you use the crust colour setting on a sunbeam
No I don't think you can use crust selections on the cake setting. My machines that have the bake setting don't allow you to select crust color either. I definitely wouldn't go into the machine to change any of the settings, you may do to much damage to the machine.
