This Sunbeam model's belt is considered unservicable by the distributor. I cannot, by law, consult you in any other way regarding this matter. 5891's are considered in the breadmaker world as low-end/disposable models.

Oster/Sunbeam/JardenConsumerSolutions will tell you the same.

You need to put warm water in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes to loosen the blade before removal.

once you push #8 the display will show you the time remaining until complete...most machines take about 1 hour to 1 hour 30 mins. to finish making dough....

Use 2 tablespoons less liquid next time using the same recipe.

If you pushed "stop" & waited 1/2 hour with the lid open it should have worked. Just be sure you did those 3 things.

No, but it will not be making any noise, during the rise phases except for what is called the "punch down" that is usually just a few seconds of agitation, then it rests again.

You may have thrown a belt or snapped the belt. Take off the bottom panel and see if you have belt problems.
