Hy my copiar konicaminolta 601 have problem that ready to scan but not ready to copy please help me

Sir/Mam, Have you had the developer and drum replaced recently, or does the screen say Replace PC Drum? There are certain house chores the copier does before "Ready to Copy" it is waiting for them to get done, so that equals "Please Wait". One big item is making sure the developer and toner are properly mixed inside the image unit underneath the drum or next to it depending on the series. Might want to have the developer replaced and drum/cleaning blade normally done all together, then run the F8 procedure/Developer Charge, and make sure the counters where cleared. Did you recently replace the drum and the developer if so did you clear the counters for the drum and developer, FIRST? IF not then the copier thinks the new drum and new developer are old. The copier works on the counters that is how it knows it got a new drum and developer. Get new developer and a new drum and have it installed correctly. Counters are clear before the unit is yanked out of the machine, then you remove the image unit/drum unit replace the developer/drum and cleaning blade. (DO NOT USE A VACUUM CLEANER WHEN REPLACING THE DEVELOPER static electricity can destroy the sensor located below the developer unit. Then reinstall and RUN F8/Developer Charge. Make sure the fax line and Ethernet cable is removed can't print anything until the F8 is run. Or you will start all over again with new developer and a new drum. When is the last time a full PM was done. with the counter properly cleared and require procedures where done after the developer and drum are replaced, did you clear the counters for the new drum?? Replacing the heater (FUSER/FIXER is not the problem) A good cleaning in and around the Photo drum and developer section with the developer replaced and counters properly check and so get a qualified Konica Minolta Tech out to look at the machine. Sir/Mam, turn off the main power switch, ensure the sub power switch is on. The sub power switch is located on the right side of the control panel. Then holding down the Utility/Counter button turn the main power switch on. Close the front door you must keep the Utility button down. The screen will show TROUBLE RESET touch it see a "OK" then power off the machine. YOU MUST WAIT TEN SECONDS BEFORE POWERING UP AGAIN!!!!!! If the problem goes away OK. If the code comes back you need a fusing unit. Which will be expensive!!! Sorry :( DO NOT KEEP TRYING TO RESET THE MACHINE THE MACHINE IS TELLING YOU THERE IS A PROBLEM!!!!! The erase lamp (EL) is unconnected. Did some one recently replace something in the image unit. There are two small connectors that need to be connected. when the Charge Corona Assy.is installed above the drum that assy houses the Erase lamp. Sir/Mam, POWER off the machine Main power switch is inside the machine. Keep the sub power switch on one located on the side of the control panel. Now hold down Utility/Counter button and turn on main power close cabinet then wait for trouble reset Touch it get OK then power off WAIT TEN SECONDS then power up IF IT COMES BACK DO NOT RESET IT. IT IS BROKE AND MACHINE IS TELLING YOU THAT. THIS CODE deal with the FUSER (Hot part) Can catch fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Printer Control Board fault. Sir/Mam, On the drum cartridge above the drum is a small assy. with a gold plated wire very, very thin. Anyway there is a motor that send a cleaning device across the wire to clean it well the code you have indicates that there some wrong motor burn out, jammed some how stuck or the home sensor is bad tells the copier I went out and came back cleaning done. Remove the drum cart to check on it. Recommend a tech do that don't want to do anything to the drum. Go to service mode soft switch set first box to three second box to 1 change box 3 to 0. If the code comes back do not reset the machine is indicating it is broken doing so could cause a fire. Tray #2 Lift motor. Open the 2 draw check that there is not any paper in the back. if there is or was a small piece may have got stuck in the electrical connection at the back of the draw preventing the copier to raise the second draw. Depend on which staples. Saddle stich (example, Church service program with staples in the middle type) or booklet/corner with the staple on the left side or the corner. open finisher pull out the big section to the left side see to blue/green handles rear one is for corner staple which goes the fastest do to being used the most. when you pull them out there is a plastic guide they should follow if they don't line up power off the machine close all door power on machine. the stapler should go to default location which allows the staple cart. to be removed. DO NOT THROW THE CART AWAY!!!! YOU will be replacing the staples in the cart. Once out Push at he bottom pull the top. DO NOT PULL THE WHITE WRAP ON THE NEW STAPLE UNTIL INSTALLED in the cart. Had customer do that staples spilled on the floor customer installed the staples in the wrong direction. Also be careful the is a tiny black accurator the mite come out keep it that's what tells the copier the staple is installed give to technician to reinstall. Sir/Mam, Yes you mite need to have the upper and lower fuser rollers replaced. When was the last time a Preventive Maintenance (PM) Kit 250K was done. every 250K copies the machine needs a PM and the developer needs replacement. The drum is replaced every 500k. Is there a tiny wrench being displayed in the upper right of the op screen? If so PM required. Sir/Mam, The fusing unit is causing the error. that part that gets hot. The code is stating its getting to hot. When was the last time a Preventive maintenance was done every 250,000 copies certain parts are to be replaced. You can try reset power off (Main Power Sw is inside) Sub power is on the op panel try leaving the sub on then power on with main close door once on keep the utility button down) the machine hold the utility /counter button down power on the machine wait to you see trouble reset. touch it see OK then power off wait ten seconds power on. IF the code comes back do not reset again the machine is telling you its broke this section of the machine can get hot enough to burn!!!!!!
