There are two possibilities as to why your GPS is not responding.

The first is to check your System Settings. Although it should not affect your GPS signal, check to see if the WAAS / EGNOS setting was turned off. If so, try turning it back on.

The other possibility is that the Garmin device is not reporting the status of your antenna properly. When the Antenna is closed on the nuvi 350, it disables the GPS functionality. Simply open the antenna to re-enable GPS. If the antenna IS open, there could be a hardware malfunction. This would require contacting Garmin for additional assistance.

I dont know if it the touch or not, if u turn it on and cant see nothing u need an LCD screen
If its the touch screen u need a Digitizer.

Try Raising the antenna and then press the reset button when the unit is on,this should restore the garmin, then:
I would try updating the unit by connecting to to a usb port on your computer and then downloading Garmin Communicator. If that does not help then try contacting Garmin. I will attach a link to Garmin customer support. thanks for using FixYa

With the garmin off, hold down the right bottom of the screen and turn the garmin on, it will then ask you if you want to perform a hard reset,choose Yes

If you recently just upgraded your maps you should have received a registration number from garmin. If the registration code does not work contact garmin at www.garmin.com. Go to the top right hand corner of that page where it says My garmin click on that and either setup an account or put in your user name and password. From there you can contact Technical support via email or by phone. They will correct your problem with registering your map software.

firstly you can try reseting it ,then calibrate same and if all fails get an external aerial for it this worked for me goodluck

Garmin has software on their web site that you can download so that you can update your garmin. You will need a USB cable to do this.

This is your best option since additional devices need to be installed with SWS adaptors by technicians.

go to settings sound and adjust all sound settings to max also there should be a shortcut on the screen to increase the sound most likely if you tap the bottom left or right part of the screen

2010 updates are software not hardware and are available from Garmin

Try going on Garmin's website, you will need to buy the maps.

It can be easyto open. There is a couple of nuts behind the antenna, you have to remove them, then you need to remove the antenna, in order to do this you need to find a pin in the base of the antenna, and slide it to the center, and this free your antenna, then you can reach a couple a nuts located under the antenna, remove them and then you will be free to open your nuvi. I did this cause my power button was broken, I resolded and now is working pretty fine. the picture is my nuvi 350 opened.

The firmware seems to have got corrupted. Please visit the service center and get it reinstalled.

The "No Detailed Maps Found That Support Routing" message may appear on your device for the following reasons:

• The GPS device is missing it's unlock code
• The maps on the GPS device have been disabled

To determine the cause of the message, touch the screen until the message "No Detailed Maps Found That Support Routing" disappears.

• If you see a "Can't Unlock Maps" message following this error, remove any microSD / SD cards in the device and follow the instructions below for Retrieving your unlock codes followed by the instructions for Creating an unlock file

• If you do not get the Can't Unlock Maps message then skip to the instructions for Enabling maps on the GPS device

To retrieve your unlock codes you must first register your satnav if you haven’t already done so.
To register
· Connect the satnav to your computer.
· Go to www.garmin.com and select your country
· Click on “myGarmin”
· Click on “Register Your Garmin Product” and follow the prompts
You’ll be asked to create a username and password. Write them down and keep them safe as you’ll need them anytime you want to update your maps.
Retrieving your unlock codes:

1. Log into your myGarmin account
2. Select Manage Maps
3. Select Details
4. The unlock code is located under the Installed Maps.

Creating an unlock code file for PC:

1. Plug your Garmin device into the USB port
2. Double-Click on My Computer or Computer located on the desktop
3. Right-Click on the Garmin or nuvi drive
4. Click Explore
5. Double-Click on the Garmin folder
6. Right-Click in a blank space in this window
7. Move your mouse over the word New
8. Select Text Document
9. Press Enter / Return on your keyboard
10. Double-Click on the New Text Document. This will open the New Text Document in a window called Notepad
11. Type the unlock code that is listed in the Manage Maps section of your myGarmin account in all upper-case letters with no spaces
12. Select File
13. Select Save As
14. Change the Save As Type to All Files
15. Type gmapprom.unl in all lower-case letters for the File name
16. Select Save
17. Close the Notepad window
18. Delete the New Text Document file
19. Disconnect the GPS device from your computer

Enabling maps on the GPS device:

1. Touch the wrench icon on the Where to/View map screen
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Map
4. Touch Map Info
5. Select the checkbox next to the maps to be enabled on the device

Before you type in the City.... on bottom of screen change State / Province first then go back to you City
