how much memory space do you have on your chip if you use up all memory it will delete all to make room for new memory

if its new. . .return it. . .but if you hold page button down your doing a factory reboot try a soft reboot after the unit starts up sounds to me you have a bad screen pad that's making the cursor come on all the time

no its the screen locking up in your unit

go to set up in your unit set your depth to what you want min 40 feet max 100 feet

replace it or get another one that's good see if it does the same thing

you download the updates off line then down load them to your unit off the sd card

its history buddy screens out time for a new one

go to menu click on system click on reset to factory settings see if that helps you

To connect a LRA 2400 to a Lowrance HDS-5 sounder/chartplotter, you can run an ethernet RJ45 cable from your Radar Processing box to the HDS-5 unit. You will need an adaptor cable for the RJ 45 cable to hook into the HDS-5 head unit. This is part no 000-0127-56.

As for the different transducer pinouts, I am not sure what transducer you have now so I cannot say if there is any kind of converter plug available, however, the HDS-5 units do seem to run best using the transducers that are made for them. Your best option may be to buy the transducer that is made for them, and this will directly connect to the display unit.
