GE Monogram ZET3058SHSS Stainless Steel Electric Double Oven Questions & Answers
GE monogram double oven . Self cleaning top oven and F9 in red showing and beeping noise
F9 is a problem with the oven door lock circuit. If the door is locked, it's probably a bad switch that tells the oven it's locked. If the door isn't locked, it's probably a problem with the lock mechanism.
A common problem on many built-in GE ovens (you don't say if yours is built-in or free standing...) is air circulation in the control panel. The fan that keeps the panel cool either stops working or gets clogged with dirt/dust and can't move any air. This causes the panel to overheat and can cause all kinds of odd problems and error codes. If you have a built-in, check to make sure the fan is working and the mesh screen behind it is clean.
New electric double oven with error code F97.
Turned on lower oven self clean for about 5 minutes
Prayed and asked Jesus to please let it work.
Turned of the self clean and then tried the oven and the error code f97 was gone and the oven works again.
Thank you Jesus

I have a 3 yr
Hi
This means a
loose/broken wire on the oven temp sensor or the oven temp. sensor itself is
bad and should be replaced. To solve this issue test the oven temp. sensor, it
should read between 1080-1120 ohms, if the rating is more then that and the
door appears to be closing fine then it is the control board that is bad and
should be replaced. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

Our monogram double wall oven
It's most likely that the error code you are seeing is F1, not F7. F1 is a code for 'stuck touch pad'. You will need to replace the clock/ERC or the touch pad (or both).
What does F9 mean
Failure to clean code
I have two Monogram ovens but they are not adjacent to each other top and bottom but are separate in different areas of the counter. I did the self clean for both ovens for the first time and one oven had the F9 error code about 1 hour and 45 min into the clean and the other did not sound a code.

Have a GE Monogram Oven Single Wall Unit. Began
F1 touch pad / ERC test This simple test will help determine
whether the ERC (Electronic Range Control or Clock) or the touch pad is
defective when F1 error code is present.
Note: Some models incorporate the touch pad in to the ERC as a single
assembly, in which case this test is not necessary. Simply replace the ERC
(Clock).
Warning: If you feel in any way uncomfortable performing this test or
making this repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.
1. Disconnect power to the range (unplug the range power cord or turn the power
off to the range at the circuit breaker). It is very important that the power
to the range has been disconnected, so please double check before continuing
2. Gain access inside the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad (also called keypad or membrane switch) ribbon from
the ERC
4. Make sure there are no lose wires, or anything else that may cause a short
when power is turned back on. Assemble the control panel back the way it was
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait for at least one hour to see if the F1 code comes back (usually
accompanied by a beeping sound)
7. If F1 comes back, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.

GE Monogram Trivection - self-clean cycle with oven racks in
Hello- First off, do not use 'self clean', or as most Techs call it: "Self- Destruct". This 'feature' cheerfully sold by the salesman destroys more oven and range components than any other failure. Now- the racks had a thin layer of grease on them when the oven tried to turn stuff inside the oven to ash. The grease is now a hard rubbery coating on the surface of the rack. To solve this problem, you must determine by observation, where the rack touches the sides of the oven. These contact areas need to be cleaned thoroughly with scotchbrite and a small portion of oven cleaner. Make sure you use gloves. Sliding rack in and out to 'mark' these small spots works pretty good. Once cleaned and wiped down, they should work fine. I recommend cleaning by removing as much 'stuff' by scraping and wiping down with moist cloth. Turn on to 450deg for 30 min. Much safer, less costly. Please acknowledge this posted solution if helpful. Have more info if needed- Thanks -Ed
FO error message
The F0 is a Function Key Stuck error - Replace touch pad or touch pad and control board if it is one assembly. Refer to F1 Test for more information.
How To Perform A F1 Touch Pad / ERC Test
This test is easy to perform and will help you determine whether the Electronic Range Control (ERC, control board) or touch pad is defective when the F1 code is displayed.
Note: With some models, the ERC and the touch pad are one single unit and therefore this test is not necessary. The entire assembly must be replaced.
Warning: If you have any doubts in your ability or safety of the repair, please contact a qualified appliance repair technician.
1. Disconnect the power to the range by either unplugging the power cord, or turning the power off at the circuit breaker. Always make sure the power as been disconnected properly before beginning this test.
2. Access the control panel.
3. Disconnect the touch pad ribbon from the ERC.
4. Reassemble the control panel. Make sure to check for any additional defects such as frayed or lose wires that could be causing the problem.
5. Turn the power back on.
6. Wait up to an hour for the F1 code to reappear. This could be accompanied by an alert such as a beeping sound.
7. If the F1 code reappears, replace the ERC. If it does not, replace the touch pad.
Oven light doesnot turn off
HI, This will be a simple fix here. The light switch will be the culprit. The circuit is damaged, thus, allowing for a continuously closed circuit. Simply replacing the switch will solve this issue. The switch should be mounted on the control panel. remove the control panel front trim screws, to access the switch housing.
F 2 error message when cleaning
Your oven sensor may have died during clean. turn off power open controle pannel , there should be a tech sheet(paper diagram and instructions for service guy) inside. it will have the codes on it as far as what they mean. It should point you to what part to change.
F1 error/touch panel not working on GE Monogram Dual Oven
Usually, the F1 means that either the touch pad or the oven control (also called
clock or ERC) is defective and needs to be replaced. If this fault code
cannot be canceled, replace the oven control (also called clock or ERC),
touch pad, or both.
I recommend a service call for this repair.
GE Monogram Fridge/Freezer
A frosty freezer in the back panel is an indication of a defrost failure issue. Problem may lie in the the control board, heater or defrost terminator. The problem usually is a broken defrost element. Hope that helps :)
