I have an ASUS G51V that will not power up using

First u need to check if the power adaptor is working,
to check if the adaptor is giving the output power you may need to check what is the power output, normaly the output is in the range of 18 to 24 volts. You may use a multimeter to check it,else try connecting a torch bulb using two small wire one connected to the bottom the bulb and the other to the side point of the bulb, insert the other end of the wires to the small connector slots in the adaptor cable that goes into the laptop

Also check if it's properly connected to the slot in you laptop, there could be some connection problem

Laptop won't power up without battery, needs 135W adapter

The ASUS power adapter is below spec and it may damage the adapter because the HP is drawing 45 W more power than it can deliver and will cause it to overheat.
The 17" HP requires 18.5 or 19 volts depending upon the model of the HP laptop (check the power requirements on the label on the bottom of the laptop). If the ASUS adapter doesn't deliver this voltage, it most likely won't power up the HP laptop.
Use the power supply/adapter from the other 15" HP. If this HP's adapter has a voltage output of 19 volts and the 17" laptop requires 18.5 volts, don't worry a voltage difference of 0.5 volts, the only problem is whether the power plug will fit into the power socket of the 17" HP laptop.

One long beep and 2 short beeps

Depending upon your BIOS manufacturer, generally this POST error code means either a video card problem or a motherboard problem. If the RAM is OK then you have a motherboard problem, and this may not be cost effective to fix. Consider putting your money towards a new laptop, remove the hard disk and put it into an external USB adapter case and use it as an USB hard drive for backup etc.

Dv2000 internal wireless adapter not detected.

Is there a blue light to show that the wireless is active on the laptop? If not, switch the wireless connection on once windows has loaded. It may be that you have a faulty connection between the wireless card and the motherboard. Check out this link:

My HP laptop (1 gig memory) crashes when using Photoshop

crashes, as in locks up? What kind of video memory or card you have? And, how do you have it optimized(faster performance, most likely)? This takes a bit of 'tweaking' to get just right.

Display problems

Doesn't sound real good. Probably the LCD panel or driver chip. The chip is normally a part of the mother board. You might want to try reseating the LCD screen cable on both the LCD end and the motherboard end. That may resolve the problem. If not, try plugging in and external monitor. If you get a good display on that, you probably have a bad LCD, although there is still the possibility of the motherboard being bad.. If you don't get a good display on the external. you have a bad motherboard.

If you need any additional information, please feel free to ask. If this information has assisted you in the resolution of you problem, please return here to give my assistance an appropriate final rating. My top load washer will not agitate or spin, but the pump still pumps water out????

This may not strictly be a laptop computer question, but it sounds like the belt drive on the drum has broken or come off. This is a common problem. If you are handy, unplug the machine, turn it around, and remove the sheet metal screws on the back holding the back panel on. Remove that panel and look for broken or unseated belts. If you find broken or unseated belts, replace them with new ones. If you do not, you need to call in professionals or buy a new washer. Or find someone more handy to help. :>)

After I installed a new printer I cannot get online.

Do you have a firewall installed? If so, disable it and see if that helps. Try a system restore, Start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore. It will give you a list of dates to restore to. Put the latest date that you knew that you had a working connection.
