Jensen XA2150 Car Audio Amplifier - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
How to i attatch jensen amp to pioneer deh-2200ub
You have two options here you can use the rear outputs and make sure you use the LPF low pass filter on the amp. Or you can use the speaker outputs and purchase a line out converter to connect rca's to the amp. The blue/white wire from the headunit goes to the amp remote turn on. power goes directly to the battery and ground goes to the vehicles chassis. I’m happy to help further over the phone at

Hi!
I have a Jensen XA2150
Have you checked the fuses inside the amp?Unscrew the cover and with the amp sitting on its back,remove the cover.You have 2-4 fuses,old round type,in there.
What fuse do i use
Watts = Voltage x Current
300 = 12 x Current
Current = 25 amps
Sounds like a 30 amp slo-blo fuse would be about right -- you could start with a 25 amp and see if that holds it.

I have had this problem.
I found my power wire was not properly connected to its fixtures.
(The piece that you squeeze on to the wire so that it can be used in a specific way)
It seem'd that I had not put in on tight enough and over time it finally stopped giving
enough power. I found it by moving the power cord around. I assume the ground wire could
cause the same.
Check your speaks to see if they are putting out the proper ohms.
If they are set at 2 ohms but u are getting a different reading then they may be causing it.
Jensen XA2150 Hi Input help
According to crutchfield, this connector should have come with the amp. Was this an open box? I would suggest getting a replacement molex connector from jensen. I see what you are talking about in the manual, and if you don't have the supplied connector, you have a big chance of frying your amp. The manual expects you to have this connector, and is not specific about the actual pins. For all you know, you could be wiring it the opposite way. Either that of call jensen, and ask how the pins are layed out. If you are confident you do have it wired properly, you could try both pins, and see which is the ground, but this is risky of course. There is also the chance there is no actual metal connector in one hole. You can also test for impedance if you have a multimeter, and you definitely should if you are taking shot in the dark with your amp.
Wiring
You need to wire the ground wire first, because this will make sure that the amplifier doesn't blow when you connect power. Your power cable comes last. First do the ground, then remote and follow with the power. Make sure the ground is attached to the body of the car properly, otherwise you will get poor sound

Check and see if its dirty inside, dust and smoke are known to cause problems via shorting or not making contact... sometimes your fuses are a bit over the wall so it would be best to replace them... and check if you have a fuse between your battery and the power cable to avoid over powering the amp
Power on
you must use same cable used to power sound unit.
also check if the sound may have a remote connector.
Jensen vm0312 is on, but tray will not flip up
It sounds like there may be an issue with the mechanical components of the DVD player, specifically with the tray. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check to see if the emergency eject feature is working. There should be a small hole on the front of the DVD player, and you can use a paperclip or a similarly sized object to push the button inside. This should manually eject the tray.
- Make sure that the DVD player is receiving power. Double-check all of the connections and fuses.
- Reset the DVD player by disconnecting the power for a few minutes, then reconnecting it and trying again.
- If none of the above steps work, it may be necessary to take the DVD player apart and check the mechanical components for damage or wear. However, this is not recommended unless you have experience with electronics repair.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to seek the assistance of a professional electronics repair technician.
