Remove the Two ( 2 ) Phillips Head screws on the Back side of the
R 9190 shaver near the Electrical Plug .

Pry off the Gray Rubber cover that those two ( 2 ) now removed screws went thru.
Now remove the Two ( 2 ) exposed screws up near the " Trimmer Switch "
Note: If you Popped off the " Trimmer Switch " during your efforts - DON'T WORRY . It will simply pop back in place when you are finished with your repairs.

The problem is almost certainly the batteries. You can access the batteries by removing the screws on the back and taking off the back cover. You will find batteries at shaveroutlet.com. You will need two batteries. See link below

Yes, you can replace the rechargeable batteries in your shaver with a few basic skills. If you can disasseble the shell case and have access to a soldering iron, you can remove the old faulty batteries and reinstall the replacement ones. Not only will you save a ton of money, but you'll have your trusty shaver running like new quickly!

I've done this on my own razor twice in the past 10-15 years and it's still less expensive than buying a new razor, since I really like the shave I get with mine.

Same thing happened to my Braun trimmer. The internal batteries only have a certain rechargeable lifespan and then need to be replaced.

Can you take it apart and see what the battery voltage is and see what the ma (milliamp) rating is? Also battery size (length, width & diameter)?

With that information, we can probbaly find you a replacement battery. I did for my Braun and its as good as new now.

The blades need sharpening, or replacing or you need to buy a new pair of Wahl clipper as they are the brand leaders and have a great after sales service. Remington make shavers, revolvers and rifles.

The rechargeable battery has failed. They need to be used, charged, discharged and recharged on a regular basis. If you don't, the internal makeup up of the battery damages itself. If you are going to use it, you can replace the battery, if not discard it or replace the battery and sell it on eBay as 'Refurbished'.

If you have pounted it correctly on the charger and checked for no power input etc, it may be faulty. Take it back for a replacement under warranty.
