Uatx motherboard in mini atx case

Probably however if you upgrade the motherboard you will have to upgrade the CPU, and the memory, possibly the hard drive if the old board is IDE and the new is sata. Also you would have to upgrade the power supply if it's so old it may not have sata power connectors.

Can i use a usb 2.0 or 3.0 pci card with compaq w6000

PCI is an industry standard and you should be fine using the PCI USB card but you need to make sure your operating system will be compatible with the PCI card that you purchase. It will tell you right on the package.

Looking for windows vista drivers for compa workstation evo w6000

Hi,
Sorry the Evo Workstation W6000 does not support Vista.
You can however try and find Vista drivers for certain components like your audio for example, if it's Realtek AC audio you may be able to source a driver for that. If the graphics is Intel you may be able to source a driver for that but you need to know which manufacturer made the different components so you can source them individually, it takes time but some people succeed.
If you don't know who made the internal components like audio and video then your better off reinstalling XP, get all the drivers for that, go into device manager and jot down all the manufacturers and type of the different components like display and audio, then you can try and source Vista drivers for them.

Good luck.

Manufacturer of Compaq Evo Motherboard

open it up and the mother board manufacturer will be printed on the board any mother board can be used as a replacement and if it needs replacing update it so that a later chip can be used it is cheaper to replace the mother board , power supply , memory, chip than to buy a new computer and hard drives are now solid state and do not have any spinning bits to fail talk with a computer repair shop and get ideas as to how to proceed you will probably find that with a rebuild you will save at least 25% off the price of a new store model pc and get a better unit to boot

My compaq D510 monitor was unable to display but after buying a RAM and CMOS battery it now able to display the blue screen but it cant go beyond that. The options am seeing are F10 and F12.F10 is disp

If you replaced the CMOS battery, you need to go into the BIOS settings and make sure that the date and time are correct and all the settings are ok. There should be an option to restore default settings. Save and exit. Then try again. Make sure that the boot order is set correctly too.
