Presario SR1810NX what monitor.? name and model... vast exist... no all work. test the monitor first on known good PC that is 1st 1st. does the Monitor (its button) OSD screens work,, if not monitor is toasted (good power in) if monitor is 2001 relic, some have hidden inside, power saver clock (turn it off , using OSD screens) no it's not your bios, like the www, myth loves to repeat, ad nausum here is the correct mess order. But BIOS screens are the 1st GOAL always,,,, your not there yet. 1: test the monitor first, on other PCs when sure its good move it to the Presario SR1810NX (and a good known monitor) 2: turn the Presario SR1810NX , on, then see if all fans run that means SKINS off, omg, the fans are packed in lint , omg2, the CPU fins on its heat sink are packed, bad. (a yearly event) A CPU can overheat fast, if not able to stay cool..... CPUs go slower or even halt if the they see massive heat rise. (built in self preservation mode) all fans must run and flow air, as the designer wanted. for sure. then make sure the fan in the PSU runs, if yes, good. if not you lost 12vdc to the fan, bad PSU. PC sounds to be working, yes?? what do you hear now? a key fact? 3: push the CD/DVD eject button if it can not eject the PSU is dead. there are more steps. lots more. If you open the Control Panel and look for the Bluetooth Icon, OR open the Device Manager,Network Adapters.Is a Bluetooth Adapter listed? If not buy a USB Bluetooth Adapter. There is a small chance you may have blown the speakers. Test audio with headphones.This is in relation the the audio ports on PC. Use the green for speaker output.

Normally though, I would remove the covers, clean up the fans, and remove and re-fit any cards that are in the machine (spending more attention to the memory chips and graphics card). If you do this, and you still get beeps, if you have two or more memory cards, try installing them one at a time, and see if you have a faulty memory chip.

9/10 times, it's simply something that needs cleaning and reseating though.

If you have a speaker icon at the lower right side of your screen, right click on that. Click on playback devices. A window should come up with your devices. If you have a sound card or graphics card and want to use either, make sure you're hooked up or that they are recognized. If the window is empty, right click on it and click "disabled devices", if you then see your device right click on it and enable it. You can also try, Click "start", find control panel and click on to open. Find "device manager" and right click on and open. Click continue. Click on the box with + next to "sound video or game controllers". A drop down should show your devices. Right click on each one individually, starting with one you want to use. If you see "enable" click on that. Right click on it again and click on properties. You should see a window with "this device is working properly". Right click on it one more time and click update and let it update. If you are using a sound/graphics card, that might need an update. However Socket 939 Processors were discontinued so you may have a hard time finding a "New" one.

connect the cable of the motherboard properly and replug the RAM.

Hp/Compaq gives the option and reccommends that you make recovery cd/dvd's but you're only allowed one set per computer.. once you make the original's that's it.. you can't make numerous copies for use on other computers.. If you need them why not use the ones the tech made?

If the machine otherwise boots fine except for the keyboard. Your problem could be in the keyboard port. Try using a usb keyboard to test it.

Most probably need to download and install drivers for it, or reinstall .
