Change extension numbers
From the phone dial #66xxx (where xxx is the extension) to turn off that phone.
Then dial *66xxx (with the correct extension) to turn on that phone.

You activated that feature yourself by hitting *3 you may want to use this when you go on vation so it goes directly to VM. #3 will deactivate this feature.

That is a feature sold by your local telephone company. It cost a few bucks to have it added to your telephone line, then your phone has to have the ability to display caller ID. if your phone does not have that ability, then you can buy a display device that plugs into your line and displays it, It will only display those callers that do not block their lines from being IDed.
The call gets answered automatically
You must have accidently hit the HFAns button on. If on your digital display you see a down arrown button on top of HFAns press the gray button on the bottom of HFAns. This will disable the handsfree option. Hope this solves your problem.

It looks like you want to turn on Call Forwarding. If you don't have a call forward button programmed/labeled, then you need to know the FAC (Feature Access Code) to manually turn the feature on. How do you set automatic dial for this phone
if you have a definity pbx. i go in the gui interface on site administration and i just setup autodial next to lines i want. so when the user goes through the menu on the phone and select prog and when they select a line they can input whatever number they want on that line.
