Select the sound (audio) file and down load it.

Normally, Sony would have a program installed that would have you record a CD or DVD for system recovery. Check your programs under Sony or "Accessories, then "Tools" also.

There may also be a selection upon boot up that would have you enter an "F" key for system recovery.

If neither soloutions work for you, your option be to go to Sony.Com and request a set of Recovery disk from them. You would need your model number of your computer. There will probabaly be a service charge for this request.

Since your hard drive uses IDE, so will your CDROM.

There are normally two IDE interfaces, with each interface having a primary and secondary connection (total of four connections, 2 on each).

You hard drive would be connected to the primary connection of the IDE interface 0, and the CD/DVD Rom would be connected to the secondary connection of the IDE interface 1.

im sorry you are having this problem, i too have done the same thing once on my hard drive, here is what you have to do, now that you have xp installed on the hard drive you now have to reinstall vista to a new folder and once its installed it will then allow you to dual boot vista/xp, this is exactly what i did so im on xp right now with a clean install of vista just hangin around

Gotcha... it MAY be a internal ribbon cable to your screen is loose (or not seated 100%) OR sometimes a cable one conductor inside the cable breaks and acts like a switch ~ providing a OK display sometimes ~ or not. A PC repair shop will take a quick look for you for X-Bux and IF it is a loose connector/ribbon cable they MAY be able to fix it for you on the spot... A decent camera repair shop may be a answer for you too? They are very familiar with tiny screws and display repairs. Be careful though and don't spend too much...
