My bluetooth will not stay
The problem can either be in the bluetooth device or the device where it is connected to. One simple way to check and verify is by connecting the bluetooth device to a different device with known good bluetooth connection or vice-versa.

I can't et my H700 to work on my iphone? Will it
First check what type of phone you have then under the bluetooth options make sure that your bluetooth is enabled. Then after make sure that the bluetooth has been fully charged. If you hold down the power button (the only blue big button) on the bluetooth for at least 3-5 seconds it should glow red and blue or turn purple, let go and it should be ready for pairing. Then go back to your phone under the bluetooth options and make sure that your phone is discoverable and that your phone is searching for the phone. The default code is 0000.

Passcode
The Motorola H700 has Bluetooth v1.2 which is backward compatible with v1.1. The headset works with both Hands-free and Headset profiles and is easy to pair with devices running various operating systems and software. We tested the headset with the Motorola SLVR, Palm Treo 650, the Nokia 9500, the Cingular 8125 and the Cingular 2125, and the headset paired with all devices with ease. To pair the Motorola, turn off the headset first then hold the Call button until the LED ring turns purple, quickly open the boom so that the LED stays solid purple, the headset is now in pairing mode. Use your mobile phone to discover and pair with the headset using “0000” as the default pass code. Call handling between the phone and the headset transferred smoothly and the headset will play notification or a ring tone when a call comes in. When working with the Treo 650, the H700 has an uncomfortably long delay in notifying an incoming call. It starts to ring after the Treo 650 has already ringed 2-3 times. The connection between the phone and the headset is solid. When we paired the Treo 650 to both the Motorola H700 and the Parrot 322 car kit, we can pick up calls on either one and the Motorola H700 worked reliably in this set up.
Hope I helped

Water on the bluetooth
Typically Water damage means the end of an electronic device. Leave it off for a couple of days and then try it again, but there is a good chance that it is dead.

Change battery
Turn off the unit before attempting a battery replacement. Without doing so, the power disruption that the headset will acquire can damage the internal workings.
Find the even **** on the bottom side of the unit, where the microphone boom is attached.
Place the edge of a flathead screwdriver along these slits, and twist gently back and forth until the unit opens up. Do not completely open the unit up, however.
Find the small ring near the plug and the mini-USB port. Use the screwdriver to push under the ring where the battery is found. Push forward gently to pop the battery out.

Just received a brand new, in original packaging, ...
Your headset should enter the pairing mode just by opening its boom. If it has never been paired before, it will be in pairing mode right away. Otherwise, make sure that the bluetooth radio of all devices preivously paired with it, are turned off (or, at least, out of reach). As soon as its boom is opened, and it can't find any paired device active, it will enter the pairing mode. Once your headset is in pairing mode, make the bluetooth application of your phone search for new devices. After a while the H700 should appear on the phone screen. Select it and make the application connect. If a pairing code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The pairing process should be done only one. All subsequent connections between any two previously paired devices should be done automatically, provided that their bluetooth radios are on and with each other's reach.
Hope you are able to sort your problems out.
Regards,
Carlos

I just bought a bluetooth and my son put a random pin number
Your headset will indicate it is in pairing mode when its indicator light is steadily lit in purple. Open the headset boom. If it has never been paired with any bluetooth headset before, it will enter the paring mode right away. If it has been previously paired, make sure the bluetooth radio of that(those) device(s) are turned off, and after some 5 to 10 seconds, you'll see it is in pairing mode.
Now, on your phone's bluetooth application, delete the H700 from the list of paired devices (if it is there, that is), and make it search for new devices. After a while, the H700 will show on screen. Select it and command it to proceed. If a passkey (or PIN, or pairing code) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros).
By the way, if your headset's user guide happens to be missing, you can download it from this location.
Hope it works for you.
Cheers! Carlos
