Cartridges replaced- top closed- no way out of manual

Completely disconnect this unit. Power, usb etc. hold the power button for 30 seconds. (it obviously won't turn on, but humor me) Then open all the doors on the unit, paper jam, ink cartridge access, and ink cartridges also/ etc. Close all doors again, then connect to the computer, then the power, then power on. If the problem persists, you broke the sensor or it's little plastic tab, which might not be worth replacing.

Got 1 used n abused previous owner rigged n halo head lights...

Well the best way is to get a Hanes manual for your make and model at an auto parts place . It will show you all the wiring diagrams and color coding. Use to be about twenty bucks but that is the cheapest I know. Could be something online but not sure. You could get the harness wiring from junkyard and get the right colors and even see how it is routed

Hp Lazerjet 4L constant paper jams

These machines can be problematic. They are old. Pick up rollers is the common issue. Remove the tray and look up into the machine and you will see the rollers. If they have a slick place on them, replacing them will probably solve your problem. Also make sure the paper path is clean from any paper dusk and or small bits of paper. Doesn't take much to cause a jam.

Why are the copies are coming out blank

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles. If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive. It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

Communication problem.printer wont print

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED, to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels. Activate head cleaning before a test is taken. Sometimes it is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the PC command or can be an issue with ink drying or poor ink cartridge contacts.

Carrier jam problem

Hello,

When a carrier Jam is present you would unplug the machine move the carriage to the far left. Then plug it back in. This should reset the carriage. Now if it does not the printer will need repair. These printers are no longer in production so repair can be costly to tell you the full truth.

I would go with a new HP or Epson for a replacement printer option.

I do thank you in advance for leaving feedback.

My Dell Photo A10 Printer

There is no A10 printer , the AIO stands for All-In-One. So i'll assume you have the 924 model.
First make sure the printer itself is functional: shut it down, disconnect it from the pc, start it and use it to scan and copy a file - just press the Start button.
If it doesn't work then the printer is effectively dead - the damage is in the procesor and to replace iot would cost more than a new printer.
If it works then there is something wrong in the setting from the pc. In that case the first thing you should check in Start ? Control Panel ? Printers and Other Hardware ? Printers and Faxes ? Double-click Dell Photo AIO Printer 924, and then click Printer ; in there make sure a check mark is not next to Pause Printing. If a check mark is next to Pause Printing, click Pause Printing to clear it. If it's not then the driver and the associated utility have been corrupted: uninstall it from Add/Remove Programs, reboot , manually wipe all the remaining Dell folders reboot one more time and reinstall them.

My printer doesnt make any

Can you copy a document under the glass? B&W and color?

Are you using Dell Series 5 ink cartridges?

Unplug the printer from the wall. Now remove the power brick from the back of the printer for 60 seconds. Plug everything back in. This will reset any error messages the printer has.

Power on the printer. Open the printer and take out the Dell Series 5 Black cartridge. make sure all the tape is off the cartridge and put the cartridge back in. Now do the same for the Dell Series 5 color cartridge.

Close the printer. It should print an alignment page. Any error messages?

Black cartridge = black side(left side) color cartridge = color side(right side)

Photo cartridge = black side(left side) color cartridge = color side(right side)

Dell Series 5 ink cartridges have a sensor in them that cannot be reset. Article on refilling Dell ink cartridges.

Dell Series 5 ink cartridges can be purchased at Staples, Walmart or Dell's Website.

If these ink cartridges are new, then take them to the place of purchase for a refund or replacements. If they're old, then try purchasing a new Dell Series 5 ink cartridge.

I just replaced my ink

Run a few "print-head-cleaning" cycles, to get the black ink flowing through the ink-jets inside the print-head.

Some printers REQUIRE an "alignment" step every time you change the ink-cartridges.
It only takes a few minutes, and it prints one or two pages of paper.
