Manual foe a RCH9300WF

It's pretty basic actually. I've done this with Nest and Honeywell Lyric. The only thing you need to do is removing the current thermostat from the wall and connect the new one. Set it up using your mobile application and you're good to go.

Honeywell CT200A thermostat battery will not recharge.

Yes the battery charge circuit is burned out, you might as well replace the thermostat, parts will not be made to fix it unless it is still under warranty.

My thermostat doesn't follow the schedule. The heat comes on 2 hours before the schedule.

This is normal. Your thermostat works off of a PID loop which enable it to kick on based on previous run times on how long it took to get the temperature up or down to the setpoint. this is so that the desired temperature of the space ie the setpoint is achieved by the time the thermostat is programmed for. This is called "smart technology"

I am installing a new thermostat for my baseboard

One wire is "IN" the other is "OUT" A Thermostat works by "Breaking" the "Phase" line. It is just that simple. You usually have a pair of wires that connects, on the "Hot" side, to the always power ON line, & neutral. The Circuit, or Load, on the "Cold" side, has a a pair of contacts that open & close depending on Thermostat, in series with that conductor. Hot Contacts Cold P In-------------------><-----------------P Out
N----------------------------------------------------N

Aux heat comes on

If you turn your heat on and the temperature is set 3 degrees above what the actual temperature of the room, the auxillary heat will automatically come on. The auxillary heat is an electric heat strip that provides heat to your home while the heat pump is in defrost cycle or if there are extremely low temperatures outside. Try not to set the temperature more than 2 degrees above the actual temperature of the room. Hope this helps.
